Well, here we are. The fight that was foreshadowed back in X3 finally happened. All because Lifesavor couldn't keep his mouth shut. There's a reason he didn't come back for X6.
Yeah always did wonder why a supposedly compassionate doctor would be such an instigating agitator. There's a glitch where his character sprite stays in the scene as a hostile object as he warps out. It screws up the fight.
@@GTA2SWcity because robot doctors profit off sickness and injury just like real doctors, they don't want cures they want customers...the healthier you are the less lucrative for them
@@loregasmic Well, idk if it was intended, but seeing how that character never found his way back into the spotlight I'd say it had the effect of making him unlikeable.
I don't think anyone gets to listen to the entire song in game. Either Awakened Zero ended the fight for you, or you won. Unless you're abusing Zero's AI.
Well, actually I did. On Xtreme difficulty vs awakened Zero, in only the plain blue armor and not having figured out the exploit to the A.I. you speak of, it ended up being one of the longest most exhausting fights in that game I ever had. This was in late 2001. I was partially doing it thinking I was just lucky but never held to it consistently. I don't think I could do a repeat performance today. My hands would cramp and seize-up now. When I did try for a second time in 2004 I figured out the exploit and managed a heinous victory. In 2012 I was so out of practice it just wasn't happening. Similarly around that time I remember X6 and its horribly unbalanced difficulty. I never once died vs High Max but the second fight took me 40 minutes the first time to figure out the hard way. Luckily he didn't start spamming the "disk-ball" attack or whatever it's called. By the end that stage had taken 63 minutes. Then felt like a fool when I figured out the easier way. Though the disk ball attack was the dev's way of punishing speedruns.
Imagine if Motoi Sakuraba was tasked with covering this track, but had to put it on the Genesis, this is about what one might expect. Also a non-Breis remix in the current X vs Zero remix meta? Feels rare.

And because Zero's hearing the haunting voice of Dr. Wily telling him to kill X and finish his legacy.
It's now or never - *_DO OR DIE!_*

you could just fight normal zero and just run around
This is basically Ryu vs Violent Ken in the X Universe. Or Ken vs Evil Ryu if you're picky.
The original theme is a tough act to follow. Good remix!
Or Luna Loud vs Corrupted Nurse Valentine.
Sonic vs Corrupted Shadow
I think ryu is related to Dr light
X vs Zero and Zero vs X
Hyper Sonic vs Super Shadow
"KURAE! GENMU ZERO!" AKA the git gud attack that insta kills you if you take too long in beating Awakened Zero.
Also Zero's level 3 in Marvel vs Capcom 3. It's not an instakill in there but Zero's top tier already.
I mean... you can dash under it, but whatever.

I can't help but think of Nightmare Zero's Weakness grunt in X6 with this theme.
"OWARIDA"
"EUAAAAAOH!!!"
Zero Nightmare's ultra hammy death cry *UUUWWWWWAAAAHHHHH!!!!*

Renegade, you always manage to make something iconic and elevate it into something incredible! Exceptional work!
Definitely did the rock style justice! cant go wrong with that genesis YM2612!
Legendary.
It sounds even more epic!
X still has Soul Body and Frost Tower from X4. Why can't I use that in game?
He isnt mad enough
Why does Zero use Soul Body to finish X in the X version of the fight?
He never learned that in X4.
@@HarbingerYT because he learns twin soul in this game, which is his version of soul body.
Capcom buff :)))))))))))
@@publiccrown2382 twin dream, but yeah. i think it's really dumb how x calls it soul body but maybe he uses the proper name in japanese? eh

0:47 Excellent work.
Best song in mega man series (alongside dr. wily stage 1 mm2 and x-hunter stage 1 mmx2)
I Love This one better from the other "two Zero Boss Battle"
For a weird reason, the music reminds me a bit of the Bowser fight in Super Mario Bros 3
