thank you. i knocked this out in about 20 mins. i removed the master cylinder and i was able to remove the whole pedal and remover the clevice pin with ample space. thank you

Hello, I have the chrome arm version.... however, I do not have the outer washer. When I called Arlen Ness they said I don’t need it. Now I’m confused. After watching this video I see why I would need the washer. Any advice from anyone would be great.

Hi, I have a question...if I want to putt the original pegs from my collection of Harley to this deep cut shifter, would it fit? or only the original one that comes with it completely? Thank you!!!
Hi Jose, thanks for watching our video. It's been a long time since we shot this video, but I believe your original shift peg should probably be able to mount up to the Arlen Ness Shift lever.
I bought solo shifter (Chrome) and after install the spacer seemed to have lots of play in it. I did get a spring washer with the kit. Should I or did you install the washer on the install?
Hello, sorry it's been so long I don't remember the spring washer. However, without know how much play you have I can't say if a spring washer would resolve the issue. I would recommend: 1. making sure the shift lever is installed correctly on the shift shaft. 2. Confirming you got the correct sized spacer for a solo shifter application.
@@chaparralmotorsports Thanks for the reply. The play is only about a 1/16 of an inch... Enough for the spacer to move freely just seems a bit too much.
Can the master cylinder push rod be adjusted to lower the pedal a bit. Mine hits my heat shield.

The softail and touring foot levers are not the same. Are you referring to hand or foot levers?

Hello Rob, yes Arlen Ness does offer shorter version called the "EZ" version which is one inch shorter than stock. Thanks for watching.
