  • In this completely free DIY video, we show you how to remove and replace your Harley-Davidson cable clutch hand lever. This will be the same procedure for almost any year and model of Harley-Davidson motorcycle, as nothing has really changed over the years. In this video, we used a 2001 Harley-Davidson Road King. We wanted to change the stock front clutch hand lever with a black one. We'll show you some tips and tricks to easily get this project done.

Thanks mate. Whe I started my bike today I put my helmet on a hornet's nest so I ran away. Turned around and my bike vibrated and fell over. Snatched the clutch level. Easy fix. Thanks mate

I have a new 2020 Softail slim that I am trying to upgrade the levers on. The clutch cable on the 20 looks completely different then any clutch cable I’ve seen. There is a yellow plastic piece with a red button. Do you think you could do a video on the new cable design or direct me to a resource that would tell me how to get that off. Thanks for any help and guidance.

My wife’s just got a new bike. Hers has the “chrome” style clutch cable. Hers doesn’t have a boot that can be slid off. There are a couple notches I see on both sides of it for a wrench. However I don’t see and type of retaining nut to loosen and if I put a wrench on both sides I can’t get it to turn either way. Is there something I’m missing here? 😂
