Saw these guys supporting Chimaira back in '05, I knew who Dark Tranquilliy were at the time but I wasnt familiar with there stuff and god I wish I had payed more attention, although saying that I can proudly say that I have in fact seen DT play and now I will be paying much more attention!!!
Saw these guys live last month with my girlfriend. They were fucking awesome and they didnt even have a bassist! They are a must see for any melodic death metal fan.
Italian metal fans are the best. Still rulle. Dark Tranquillity is one of the best progressive mrlodic death band of all tiime. They contributed to create this genre , with In Flames and Hipocrisy. And after 30 years they still rule. Great. I've seen in Milan in 1997 and after a lot of years , as i see i ln this videos, in my Milan, they're still great.
I may be reacting too much, I don't know but at 3:10 is the best solo I have ever heard so far. Don't think I'm discoreving DT, I listen to them since early 2000. Who is OK with me?
I agree with ta666ak666, if you have not seen 'em live, then make sure you do, I saw 'em last year and it was something which makes me smile till today, Dark Tranquillity ruled that night, I still remember how I reached the venue, honestly I felt like a hobo with no money in my pocket, and yet I was determined to get a bottle of vodka for some metalheads. It was a great night. Sadly they were not the headliners, but I will always have the best memories of Dark Tranquillity!

They aren't entirely different. People usually compare DT and In Flames because they (along with At The Gates) pioneered Melodic Death Metal in Gothenburg, Sweden during the early 90's.
+Khristian Bolano (Crispoz) This song is about the lost of an entire generation I believe, but it's not about you, it's those people who don't really share the passions you have, for the music, to come out to a show like this. This right here, is a love song for you, and a hate song to all those peopole. Because you are not lost to apathy.
I still like inflames, I think its good to have albums that sounds different, even if the genre is not really the same. Imo In-flames still > dark T, well I might get a lots of dislikes posting this on a dark T video, for that I am sorry ^^
