Very useful. I am interested in the Zelos shafts but it is very hard to find any tests or reviews, or fitters who carry the Zelos, at least where I live in Rockville, Maryland. I am playing forged blades very similar to Mizuno MP-33s that are not a major brand and no longer produced but that the pro and club fitter I go to has a supply of, so in order to determine which shaft might be better for me, I need to buy one from Golf Works, buy another 7 iron head from my pro (very inexpensive) and have a club made to try out. I currently have Royal Precision Rifle Lite steel shafts in stiff flex. But as I will be 82 in June, they are almost certainly a little too heavy and stiff and so I am looking for a lighter shaft. I purchased a Zelos 7 for a 7 iron and had a club made, with good results. I tried to buy a complete set of Zelos 7 shafts but GW says it does not have them all. So I have now purchased a Zelos 8 stiff flex for a 7 iron and will try that out. The Zelox 7 weighs 77 grams, the Zelos 8 weighs 87.5 grams, so either one is considerably lighter than my Rifle Lite 120 gram shafts and should be easier to swing. This video is now 7 years old, so I doubt there will be any reply, but it was the best one I found so I added this comment.
I was just fit for XP105 R300 in another brand. My fitter had no Nippon. Swinging 6 iron 81mph/151 yards - what should I compare to with Nippon? My other specs are +1 upright, -1/4", D2 if that helps narrow a starting point. Thanks!
great interview, love nippon. every talk I've seen from their employees is so much more informative and intelligent than those from other companies
Exactly! The nipon rap are so much more precise knowledgeable and informed as the products they made
