Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on UA-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on UA-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on UA-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Even now, a half-century later, certain Jim Croce songs make my eyes water and leave a lovely lump in my throat.

He actually wrote this one night for his wife. Woke her up to sing it to her.

Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s there wasn’t a lot of music that my father and I could agree on. One of the few exceptions was Jim Croce. My father liked his humorous novelty songs like Don’t Mess Around with Jim and Bad Leroy Brown whereas I preferred his more introspective songs. My father was visibly upset when he heard of his tragic death.
To this day I can’t help but, think of my father when I hear Mr Croce’s music. My personal favorite is the sad but, beautiful “Lover’s Cross”. I suspect it is right up your alley.

Jim was a genius at writing simple yet beautiful lyrics and wonderful music.

Last Wednesday was the 50th anniversay of his death. Timeless music.

Waking back to Georgia is a great one by Jim Croce

"Workin' at the Car Wash Blues" is one of Jim's tightest, most lyrically clever and concise up-tempo songs. It perfectly catches his working class/common man vibe in the perfect toe-tapper that will leave you smiling for minutes after the song is over. Highly recommend!!

When I tried to learn guitar this was one of the songs I tried to play. :) Time in a Bottle is also sweet.

I love "Ive Got a Name" probably most, but he has so many great songs. Hes a true poet.
Funny side note - His wife wrote a cookbook called "Thyme in a Bottle" 😊

Another great love song, but seldom heard, is "Salon and Saloon". I think Maury wrote it, and it is an excellent song.

He wrote this song after he had had a argument with his wife.

"Expressing it in words sometimes isn't the easiest thing" is a bingo, lol, and that's because it's all about allowing yourself to be vulnerable and bare. And most people don't want to go there - it's too 'risky' to them, yet it could be the most freeing and assuring place you'll ever be. All about trust. Great reaction.

You should also react to Croce’s “Photographs and Memories.” It’s very short but very beautiful, so you might add it with another song for a 2for1 reaction.

    Please listen to Marc Broussard.
He does a great cover of Etta James Sunday Kind of Love, & Georgia. 2 of his songs, everyone reacts to Home, which is AMAZING another one of his songs is The Beauty of Who You Are.

I can understand why he would write a song like this about his wife. She is a beautiful lady.
