Congrats on buying your first home! Your positivity and effervescence are infectious - not only do I want to plan to cast on your upcoming colour work sweater and stick season jacket, but I also want to buy a new house now.
Super excited for your stick season cardigan - both shawl and round collars, and yes pleeeease pockets! I’m also in the couduroy hat queue 🧢 You’re like a windmill, Rebecca, converting the frenetic energy into amazing knits and fun stuff! Congrats on your new house :)
It is always a big part of my day to watch your podcasts. And, for you to make us all a part of your life, with puppy updates, personal comments, and sharing the blessings of you life with us, makes it even better. Enjoy your new home. Can't wait to see colors evolve in your living spaces. Auguri (congrats) on all you have done in the past year. Can you believe it?.
I just love your podcasts, you have such great energy and passion for life. And give yourself a break about stressing - it's human nature to stress and forget to "stop and smell the roses!" I love listening to your design process, it makes it all the more fun to knit your patterns knowing the time and process that went into designing them - it's much appreciated. Congratulations on your new house! (And great choice for your merch with the comfort colors - they are the best t-shirts!)
I started knitting in order to learn to do a half fisherman's rib sweater to replace the 4 store-bought ones that I've had for many years, but are now falling apart. Still haven't done one. So I'm really happy to know you're working on one, because I love your patterns. You don't need to apologize for feeling stressed. Moving house is literally one of the most stressful life events. And puppies are wonderful but also a huge responsibility.
Had to pause to say how much I am loving your new textured sweater! Wow💙 that's everything I need in my life, it's fantastic and looks to be a fun, engaging process. Looking forward to seeing more of this! I always love your videos and get excited to knit more.
oh friend it is always so nice to hear you talk, it is like being back in the Burgh! I keep thinking that around this time last year I was knitting in my Alder, and as you say, new stitches that are easy to memorize are so enjoyable! I love the knit club caps ! And congrats on your new house, but it is ok to feel overwhelmed even if a lot of nice things happen at the same time. That does not mean you are not grateful or aware of them being good things, it just means you are human. Have a lovely week Rebecca!
Congratulations on buying a house! 🎉 I'm so happy you popped up on my feed. Your knits are so beautiful, and I'm off to check out your parents. Be kind to yourself and remember, “The days are long, but the years are short.” I find that saying is really helpful in grounding me right now, so I thought I'd pass it on. And congrats on the puppy! Happy creating 💚🧶💚
Congratulations on new pattern and new home. I had a giggle when you said it was getting cooler I’m in Australia and temp just dropped from 16 to 0 in 4 hours and started to snow. Heading into summer soon and might need to knit a jumper 🤪
Congratulations on your new house!! You must have super powers with also knitting, patternrelease, a partner, a puppy and work!? We are lucky with you as a designer of so many great garments. Thank you! The most recent try-outs with more stitch definition and the rib are looking promising 😊
Congratulations Rebecca on your new home. I had to pause the podcast to go and buy the Kip pattern. I love it. Thanks for the discount. I’m impressed that you stopped to take care of yourself. We feel what we feel, we can tell ourselves that it’s a privilege and it’s something to celebrate, which it is, but stress is stress. So it’s good to acknowledge and do something about before it does something negative to you. Thanks for sharing your life with us also. I really enjoy your podcasts and I love all of your patterns.
You do not have to apologize for feeling stress when you have a lot of things going on in life! Deadlines and life admin and being go-go-go without a break is stressful. I LOVE Comfort Colors tees and they're a great choice for knitters because they're made from really premium quality yarn and knitters have good taste in yarn! Will be excited to see your designs.
Congratulations on the house move! And the pattern launch! I immediately got the pattern and cast on because I have no self control at all. I'm using Lana Grossa Puno Due which is a blown yarn out of cotton and alpaca, and it's kind of two-toned (hence the name), in my a case lime green cotton filled with yellow aplaca fluff, and this shows off the structural pattern really nicely! It just won't be super warm, but that's perfect for late summer or next spring. It's 210m per 50g ball but due to the fluffy nature knits up more like a dk.
Here’s to many, many happy times in your new home!🥂 Time goes by so quickly and before you know it, you’ll have made the house into what you want it to be. Enjoy every minute and don’t stress! I downloaded the Kip sweater as soon as I got online this morning. I’m going to Rhinebeck next month and I’m sure I’ll find the perfect yarn for it there. It’s a gorgeous sweater.
Bought the Kip, I love the all-over texture and have been wanting to knit something with that sort of herringbone stitch for years! That orangey brown corduroy hat is one of my favorite colors, and I can't wait to get one in the US!
The KIP looks amazing. Any chance you'd do a V neck version? I know you're young, but you need to relax a little more. You are extremely productive in your knitting, but we don't want you to burn yourself out. Take Care. Rosie
So happy to see you again! And looking forward to your new project knitting where you take us along on the husband’s sweater journey. 👏 I vote for the Yoga Winter Sweater DEFINITELY with sequined thread! That sweater has more ‘personality’ than the EUN, in my opinion.
Congratulations on your new house! That is such great news; you (and Sam) put in a lot of hard work to be able to purchase it. You deserve good things to happen! The really tough part is all the unpacking😉 Thanks for the discount on the Kip sweater. I need to figure out how to squeeze more knitting time into my day😉 Thank you!
Nice to hear Taylor Earl of Fibre for the People naming you as one of the (very) few designers who actually illustrate a men’s version on your sweater patterns - it was a pet peeve of hers that so many designers just show female samples, even on sweaters tagged as “male” and “unisex”, so she gave you a big shout out!
Congrats on the Kip launch 🐔 Thank so much for having me in the test. It's so good! Lovely knitting as usual. Cable patterns.. my absolute favroite is the Saven. There are two versions, one more suited for a man and one for a woman with slightly different constructions.
Congratulations on the release of the Kip Sweater, it is so beautiful! I have plans to start the Lauder and the Tolsta and will be adding this to the list! Also, a big congrats on the house, it is both an exciting and overwhelming time to move and I hope you can get unpacked and settled in quickly so that you can enjoy the new space all the more!
Congratulations on your new house! I hope it will be the happiest place for you, Sam and your puppy ❤ And with the boxes, they won't run away anywhere, you'll unpack them when the right time comes, don't worry too much. Girl, the amount of customisation you plan for Stick Season Jacket?! How one even gets the idea for that many versions of one garment? I love what you do with your patterns ❤
Congrats on buying your new place! You'll have a ton of fun setting up your new yarn room. I knit a cable knit cowl called Nouverie Cowl by Melissa West of Fox and Fig Knits four times! And I don't even have one for myself! but I loved knitting this cable stitch pattern so much. The first one was a birthday present for a good friend, then I knit it up again in a different colourway which I donated to a local art exhibition as a raffle prize. The others I knit as commissions and one of them went for a holiday all the way to Scotland (from Australia). The fifth one is definitely going to be for me. The biggest reason I love knitting this pattern is that you don't have to use a cable needle, it's 2-3 stitches max in the cable so slipping 1-2 stitches off the needle to cross the cable isn't intimidating which means it knits up much faster. It's definitely a pattern for the knitters. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Moving is always stressful, there’s a hundred small stresses each day that still need to be addressed. You appear to be dealing well with it all! lol the wallet is more like a sieve at this time with money pouring out the holes! Yay Kip! Congrats on all the things!
Congratulations on your new home. Those beach walks look amazing. I love the rusty orange Kip Sweater…a great colour on you. I’m looking forward to casting on a Nyx Sweater after it’s release.
I am a big fan of your patterns and it’s so good to hear that my purchases have helped you and your family! Casting on my Kip swatch while I watch today!
It is so sappy to say, but I love this podcast. I am in the US, I could not get the name of the show you are binge watching. Love all your sweaters. It is so interesting to listen to you talk through how you land on a pattern of stitches. fascinating! thank you so much. Congratulations on your new home!
I have yet to meet a product manager who wasn't calm and cool on the outside and a complete stress monster on the inside. lol It sort of comes with the job. At least the good ones stay calm and cool on the outside because they have to deal with ALL THE CHAOS without everyone else freaking out. I've also watched way too many of them burn out because they didn't learn to recognize what is worth stressing over and what isn't. Your way is a lot healthier. Congratulations on all the wonderful things happening for you right now! Well deserved.
Excited about the t-shirts! I also think that tthe texture on the last project you showed would be cute on the cuff of a sock. I love getting a glimpse in how your brain works!
A puppy, moving/buying a house two very stressful things on top of two jobs I think feeling overwhelmed is allowed, glad you are feeling calmer now, boxes will get unpacked at some point 😊. I'm amazed you got knitting done too!
Some of my favorite cabled sweaters are by Veronika Lindberg aka KutovaKika. I was a bit intimidated at first by her sweaters because there is a lot going on, but she made some step-by-step videos and after doing 3 cabled sweaters like that I feel very confident to try any cables out there!
Hi Rebecca glad to see you back you have certainly been missed but you extremely busy , anyway glad you back new home ect ect , love your caps will have to get my daughter to order for me ,I have Graves’ disease and just not able to go out side without dark glasses and a cap ,your ones are looking brilliant also the peak is sort of fuller than what I have at the moment so I’ll defobe getting Nys to order for me thank you ,looking forward to your next pod thingy xx ❤
Yay congrats on the Kip! I bought it immediately and going to cast it on soon. It’s going to be a ‘to-share’ sweater for me and my boyfriend! (We roughly wear the same size so it’s perfect and we both can wear it!) Also I’m Dutch and as soon as I saw the name kip I knew I had to make it haha.
My husband and I had the exact same house buying experience, with the exception that we looked at a second one just to look, and went with the first. Lol.
Congratulations on the new pattern launch! I am SO EXCITED about your wrap pattern and also this cabley-ribby-thing that's coming. Wish it was a cardigan 😉 hint hint. The merch also sounds really fun, love the corduroy hats already, they have a real retro feel because of the fit. Would also love to see a snippet of the puppy at the very end of a video sometime? I remember the teething phase, my first dog swallowed all of his, but my second one left all his exfoliated baby teeth everywhere so we would walk around and think we had stomped on a piece of Lego, but it would be a puppy molar 😵💫
If someone complains about you touching your hair they're most likely jealous. And need to take up knitting to calm down. You're quite lovely.❤❤❤ Thanks for sharing!
Yes, Ruma is Norwegian. And the way you said Fivel would bee correct if you mixed the two ways of saying it. The sounds of the first, and the speed/or slowed down version of the second ;) Love your knits!
Lol you just made me crack up when you mentioned thinking it was a moth. lol. Love you so much thank you for your awesome podcasts and your incredible patterns.
been drooling over the kip 🤤🤤🤤 it's gorgeous. my fantasy is to knit it with The Scottish Yarn Festival yarn in Bruce....... anyway, congrats on another beautiful design!
I love that you’ve recognised at such a young age to stop and smell the roses. Huge congratulations on your new house and puppy’s 5 month milestone. However, you didn’t answer my burning question which is ….. will you still be able to attend your old knit night? I’ve always been so invested in your cool group of knitting friends. 🧡
I won't have them this time round, I'm keeping it super simple with 2 designs. But I'm hoping that I do a couple of tees a year and will keep long sleeves in mind for future!
Hello Rebecca! I love the color work sweater you showed. Any idea what yardage of DK we would need to do just top/yoke color work in the various sizes? I'd like to get something from the Farmer's Market collection and want to make sure I order enough! I'm a size 3 or 4 in your patterns.
Thanks for another fabulous episode. I'm waiting with baited breath for the caps!! Pretty please could I ask where you buy your book club tees from? My sister is an avid reader and I've been lookign for a cool graphic t-shirt for her for a while, but having no luck, so any recommendations would be so welcome :)
I love the kip sweater so much but the stripes are just slightly too narrow for my personal taste. Does anyone know how easy/difficult it would be to adjust the width of the texture sections?
You could definitely expand them, it would be pretty straightforward to do. The only thing to take care of is where that the front and back are on the same row when you join
Love your podcast, your sense of style and your generosity ❤❤❤ please look into the lense when chatting, it looks like you are talking to someone next to me😂 much love from Shetland xxx Congratulations on your new home ❤❤❤
I also am dying to start the Tydes pattern! I love watching your podcasts and hearing about the move and puppy…but slight tinge of disappointment when there is no mention of the Tydes. I too would love you to release the Tydes. Pretty please!!
I was excited to hear about the tee shirts coming until you said, “unisex”. As a big busted woman, those never fit me well. By the time the bust fits the neck and shoulders are huge. Unisex really is a men’s fit. I hope you someday find a source that makes women’s fit. Narrower shoulders, more room in the chest. Congrats on Al, your success. I have watched since your first episode and have seen you blossom and grow as a designer. Everything you have is well deserved.
Hi Rebecca, much as I love your videos, you talk so fast that I find it hard to follow you and I could not hear where you get the Rauma Vams get from. I listened and listened and it wasn't in the show notes either. Could you please put that kind of information in there so that we can at least get that right? I am in the UK and my English is good, I usually even don't have a problem with the Scottish accent, but you speak so fast that I really can't hear all you say, I do apologise!
As per usual, this was a huge treat, however there's nothing I loved more than the "whats in my bag" segment of this video
I should do it more often because I can guarantee at least one project bag is filled with nonsense on a weekly basis.
Congrats on buying your first home! Your positivity and effervescence are infectious - not only do I want to plan to cast on your upcoming colour work sweater and stick season jacket, but I also want to buy a new house now.
I love that bauble alternative sweater. I’ll be watching for its release!
Very exciting to be living in your own house. I wish you every happiness there xx
I love comfort colors. Good choice!
Congratulations on your new home, love your new pattern.
So cool to see how far you have come in the last few years.
All your patterns are wonderful.❤
Super excited for your stick season cardigan - both shawl and round collars, and yes pleeeease pockets! I’m also in the couduroy hat queue 🧢 You’re like a windmill, Rebecca, converting the frenetic energy into amazing knits and fun stuff! Congrats on your new house :)

I absolutely LOVE my Eclair Raglan by Laura Penrose! It's peak cozy vibes and the perfect warm layer to put on anytime I feel chilly ❤

Another beautiful episode, thank you very much, Rebecca!
Love, love, love your new textured sweater! Can’t wait for the pattern!
So glad your move went smoothly. It is nerve wracking to purchase a house, especially your first home. Enjoy the new yarn room!

Congrats on the house! 🎉 so exciting. (Always fun to hear your extra “nonsense”) and yay for the Kip sweater… bought the pattern already! Thanks 😊
Congratulations on a wonderful new page in your life! Enjoy your new house.
Congratulations, so lovely for you and Sam! You work hard, enjoy!

Congratulations on your new house! That is such great news; you (and Sam) put in a lot of hard work to be able to purchase it. You deserve good things to happen! The really tough part is all the unpacking😉
Thanks for the discount on the Kip sweater. I need to figure out how to squeeze more knitting time into my day😉 Thank you!
I love all the texture! I also love seeing the design process❤
Thank you so much!
I love the bauble alternative! Excited to see how that pattern works out going forward.
I’m so happy for you Rebecca! Love the kip sweater and oh my some gorgeous patterns on the horizon!
Congrats on the new house! Sooooo many lovely designs coming from you.
Congratulations on the release of the Kip Sweater, it is so beautiful! I have plans to start the Lauder and the Tolsta and will be adding this to the list! Congrats on buying your new place! You'll have a ton of fun setting up your new yarn room. I knit a cable knit cowl called Nouverie Cowl by Melissa West of Fox and Fig Knits four times! Congratulations on the new home!
Had an email From La Mercerie in my inbox celebrating the Kip Sweater! Congratulations on your latest pattern release!
Moving is always stressful, there’s a hundred small stresses each day that still need to be addressed. You appear to be dealing well with it all! lol the wallet is more like a sieve at this time with money pouring out the holes! Yay Kip! Congrats on all the things!
Wow! You have been busy! I’m excited for the merch; I definitely need the mustard ball cap!
Congratulations on your new home. Those beach walks look amazing. I love the rusty orange Kip Sweater…a great colour on you. I’m looking forward to casting on a Nyx Sweater after it’s release.

Real Housewives of New York (I think).
I have yet to meet a product manager who wasn't calm and cool on the outside and a complete stress monster on the inside. lol It sort of comes with the job. I just watched the wooly knits podcast and she bought the same bag you have. The quilt motif is quite popular now.
It definitely is!
Excited about the t-shirts! I also think that tthe texture on the last project you showed would be cute on the cuff of a sock. I love getting a glimpse in how your brain works!
I have this grand plan to make a sock pack with a selection of my patterns but of course it always falls to the bottom of the pile.
That would be AMAZING! 😍😍😍
A puppy, moving/buying a house two very stressful things on top of two jobs I think feeling overwhelmed is allowed, glad you are feeling calmer now, boxes will get unpacked at some point 😊. I'm amazed you got knitting done too!

Just went and ordered yarn and the pattern with the code 🎉 such a beautiful pattern!!

Me too… I am loving texture ❤❤ love the kip and just got it too
My husband and I had the exact same house buying experience, with the exception that we looked at a second one just to look, and went with the first. Lol.

Love your knits!
Lol you just made me crack up when you mentioned thinking it was a moth. lol. Love you so much thank you for your awesome podcasts and your incredible patterns.
The moth fear is REAL
@@the.creabeaRight? Every knitter should fear moths!
been drooling over the kip 🤤🤤🤤 it's gorgeous. my fantasy is to knit it with The Scottish Yarn Festival yarn in Bruce....... anyway, congrats on another beautiful design!
Oh that would be lovely!
Well done…. Happy to see you back 🙌 you talk the same way as my brain thinks 😂😂😂😂😂
I love your cardigans! Your pullovers/jumpers are beautiful too. I just always prefer to wear a cardigan.
Yay merch!! 😍
YES! I'm still close to knit night. I actually ran into a fellow knit-nighter just outside of my house today!
Studio opening party 🎉🥳🥂
❤good video❤
I know it was just an offhand comment, but unfortunately I will now require a Chappell Roan Sweater collaboration!
Hi Rebecca! I have a request. Can you provide long sleeved options when ordering your swag tee shirts? The hats are cute!
I won't have them this time round, I'm keeping it super simple with 2 designs. But I'm hoping that I do a couple of tees a year and will keep long sleeves in mind for future!
Don’t stress over being stressed 😫 stress is normal…. They say moving house is one of THE biggest stressors! So you were allowed your moment 😘
Stressing over being stressed, CLASSIC! Thank you for this! I appreciate it.
Congratulations on your new house!!! I do have a question, where did you get the inspiration for the name "The Creabea"?
Hello Rebecca! I love the color work sweater you showed. Any idea what yardage of DK we would need to do just top/yoke color work in the various sizes? I'd like to get something from the Farmer's Market collection and want to make sure I order enough! I'm a size 3 or 4 in your patterns.
POCKETS!!! Please and thank you.
Okay this is the sign I was looking for
Thanks for another fabulous episode. I'm waiting with baited breath for the caps!!
Pretty please could I ask where you buy your book club tees from? My sister is an avid reader and I've been lookign for a cool graphic t-shirt for her for a while, but having no luck, so any recommendations would be so welcome :)
Book Babe designs!
@@the.creabea Thank you! ❤
Fivel is actually pronounced fee-vel, pressure on the i and no double conconnants. So a mix of your two pronunciations 😊
And Rauma are norwegian!
THANK YOU! Of course I didn't even think it would be something completely different.

Can you link the shop you normally order your yarn from? I have tried Googling it but I can't find it.

@@the.creabea awesome! Thank you!
Love your podcast, your sense of style and your generosity ❤❤❤ please look into the lense when chatting, it looks like you are talking to someone next to me😂 much love from Shetland xxx Congratulations on your new home ❤❤❤
I tried to remind myself this time! Maybe I need to put a sticker on the camera to get it right, will keep trying.
Has the Tydes design been dropped completely
I've not quite worked out what's happening with it yet, but it still exists.

What do you mean by ‘ganzy/genzy’ style? You use this word a lot, but I (and google) don’t know what this refers to. Please help ☺️
It's Gansey! A style of fishermen sweaters from around the UK. So much great reading on them out there!
Love your podcasts, but for the first time found you talking too fast this time. 😊
