You three are wonderful, cheerful, creative, kind, generous artists. I love Betsy’s colors (cowl), Kim’s elegance (sweater) and Simone’s pattern (sweater). Thanks for all of this; have a wonderful rest-of-year. I am so sorry about the postal strike (I would be furious if I had a business dependent on it and would be tempted to boycott it even when it’s back up and running) and so glad you have an alternative. Xx
Just wanted to say thank you for bringing such joy and laughter and inspiration with each episode. All of your projects are always beautiful. Wishing all of you a Merry X-mas and Happy New Year.
What a fun episode! I'm sitting at home, morose and crabby, and your happy goofy mood is just what I needed. Years ago in Oakland there was a wonderful store called Straw into Gold near me, long gone before I actually started knitting.
When you were talking about chocolate and knitting, it made me think of my daughter the last time she visited. She's does beautiful needlework and I found her sitting at the table with a bowl of cheezies and tongs. Hilarious. LOL😂
I haven't been keeping up with podcasts much since moving towns earlier this year and settling into a new lifestyle. Watching the 3 of you today really felt like hanging out with old friends and I enjoyed it so much. So my new year's resolution is to get back to regular viewing!!! you add so much positivity, fun and inspiration to our days. Thanks to all of you and Ken as well for all your hard work. May your Christmases be merry, the chocolate yummy, and the cast-ons joyful X
Merry Christmas to the Fleece and Harmony team. You were one of the first 'woolcasts' I discovered and I get so excited when I see a new episode in my feed. Thank you for inspiring, entertaining and consoling me over the year. I hope you all have a heartwarming Christmas and I'm all for the frivolous cast-on.
Love your podcasts, always full of laughter. Totally love the sock yarn kit. Interesting hearing how the yarn can effect the substance of a garment. I love the Andrea Mowry cowl as it is on Betsey because I live in Australia and don't need it to snug up, so I'm glad to learn that.
Simone. that scarf is a heritage piece ! Framed looks stunning on you. Betsy. the edging on the blanket is going to be a great finishing detail. Kim, hope we get to see the house when it is done.
Thank you Ladies, always love seeing what you are up to...Kim, you are hilarious...thanks for the laughs! Thank you Simone for the free pattern💕Happy Holidays to you all🇨🇦🥰Sharon
Oh...? Do you have an inside scoop? I haven't seen anything to that effect in the news. As we said, we don't use them anyway, but lots of our small business friends do. That will be very good news for them.
No windows? Great Life Advice😅...but next year I really do😂 need to find a person who WILL do windows... My mom was not great advice-giver but she did tell me two life skills to avoid: Washing Ceilings and Gutting Fish! Done!
I actually don't mind doing windows - once a year! LOL I just didn't notice that the pictures had "spots" until I was doing the editing of the segment.
Fantastic all of you! Simone, Do you ever cut off your tips due to color? I have some fleece I've washed and the tips are still dirty so I plan to cut them off. The fleece is clean and I don't want to wash those locks again!
Hello! Do you still have the 🐑 🐏 🐑 and the horses? I follow your podcast since several years ago, and I really love the theirs stories and images. All the best for all the team❤
Darling ladies, I do wish that you would switch to using our Canadian metric system and use “meters” on yarn bands and spoken references. We are Canadians, not Americans. ❤ Much love to you three.
Yes, I understand and agree it would be nice. In Australia we use metric too! I think though, if your main market is in the US then you may need to use the imperial measurement system. It’s great to have both!
Do the math. Not hard. I’ve learned over the decades over six of them on this planet not to ask other people to change. We adapt, we grow. I highly recommend it.
Just to set the record straight - we use yards because that's what we are used to when discussing yarn. We don't do it for the Americans, it is for us. And - you will love this! - our yarns are labelled: 200 yards, 80 grams, for example. We always talk mm when discussing needle sizes and inches when we are referring to cord length. Call us quirky, but the truth is, everyone gets to learn the math - Canadians and American alike.

Simone, I downloaded you mitten pattern right away. I have some pure wool yarn that will work well. Thank you.
What sweater is Becky wearing?

@@Marielm1 Over 7 decades …. Americans buy in Canada, they should do the math. Not hard.
