Listening to music can and should include engaging the creativity of those who are not the same as one's self. You simply don't need to be a Muslim, or even religious at all, in order to appreciate this to at least some degree.
I used to listen this song when i was child.I was not able to undersrand the meaning of song because my mother language is not english but still i was listening and it is verypeeacefull

I ADMIRE yusuf Islam , not just because he has a beautiful voice and he is a great composer. , but because he is brave and sincere following what he believes and feels I am catholic , but this songs and music shows me beauty in islam. I RESPECT IT!

I only said that in my opinion it didn't improve the music. I have from a young age been a polytheist and believe there to be a superabundance of Gods. Only since some have claimed there to be just one has it been a cause of conflict :)
That is not true, polytheist came after monotheism, Adam and Evi they had one God but people that came after got misguided and had the desire to make polytheism for example the son of God thing it didn't start with Christianity the romans and jews had the same thing. music wise i have to agree with you he had good songs in the past but that is not because of faith he was simply young energetic and motivated back then
If you want to believe that, cool. I feel their was a lot more before "The book" in any of its forms. which makes for a fascinating study. Ever see Gobleki Tepe, twice as old as the pyramids. It's whatever turns you on :)
Only love a person for the sake of Allah?! Suppose the person is a good and decent, sincere, hard working Muslim, and she is fine and beautiful to boot? Are you telling me it is not natural for a man to love her for who she is? I think such a notion is spiritual perversion and not legitimate Hadith.
In 2000s, I would listen to this album via cassette tape. What nice days! Sometimes, I come here and listen. 26:29 to 28:02 takes me those days.
