Even after 250 hours Alias has easily had like 10 things to teach me - Telekinetic tablet throw exploit - Variable strength dynamite throwing - Wand role compression - Putting out fires by burying your head in snow - Weak walls in the Temple - Killing ticks with environmental damage .. Also your noita proxy had very good movement overall. That is probably the most important thing.
This video has such amazing vibes. So chill watching someone patiently explain one of the most unfriendly games to a newbie. Your voice is super calming and your knowledge is incredible. Underrated video.
I love seeing every interaction broken down, and other helpful bits of info. I would also like this to continue after a first win, sort of like a "what next"
I only felt comfortable doing that because I've spent a decent amount of time playing other games with Echinderm haha. He's like an honorary little brother.
can't believe I just watched a 2 and a half hours long video... just nice to see people casually playing and commenting on the game, also nice to see strats I got on my own, and learning some new ones (even with 100% achievements and 350 hours clocked in), would love to see more like these and covering more in-depth stuff (tho that might require some editing to make it watchable)
Definitely love this coaching/guiding format. Loved the funny bits, the anxiety inducing moments whenever the player was levitating towards the exit to collapse the high mountains, diving into piles of gold submerged in acid. Very cool to see the quick learning progression - by the time he reached the Jungle biome, his play style was pretty much a night and day difference. Would be cool to see a slightly longer run of more boss fights, like: - High Alchemist west of the big tree: Ylialkemisti, - Lava Lake’s pit boss: Sauvojen tuntija - Pyramid boss: Kolmisilmän Koipi Not necessarily all bosses, but at least some to show some of the less explored areas of the game perhaps? Might be harder to find someone with those specific goals in mind (and the patience for them & you to go through it, of course), but just pitching an idea! Again - Great coaching coach!
This was so great in so many ways! ❤ The dynamic you have as friends makes the teaching + banter + gut reactions really fun and organic (and thrilling too, I gasped several times haha). You're a patient and gifted teacher, and your bud did a pretty stellar job considering his experience. I learned a ton (I have 200+ hrs of Noita) and was glad to also see stuff I'd learned already, either on my own or from wizard folks like DunkOrSlam and Let'sSufferTogether -- or you! I'd gladly watch a whole series of these, for basic runs and strat runthroughs, and on quests and alchemy too. Seems like something that could work with changing or rotating players as well. Much love from Finland, the land of noitas 👾
Started playing noita 4 days back and really enjoying your guided playthroughs, I've already learnt so much from just 3 videos - though it would be nice if you could also mention what synergies you dont have that you're thinking about when you pass on certain spells like pollen, or rock spirit
I've got another up on the channel with the same guy, but going for some more boss kills and I'm actually in the process of coaching a friend to get to late game content!
I would love to see more of this and maybe some coaching and updated tips and tricks on noita, I picked it up while it was on sale recently and I love the game!
I really liked the content. I feel like every run I have on Noita is just me struggling for air. Every level gets harder and I get weaker. This helped me out a lot =) It'd be nice to have the seeds of these as well, if people want to follow with you
I've got another one already out, where I progress more through the game with Echinderm, I plan on making a few more with some other folks of varying skill levels as well!
Would you please have one of your minions do a run with the weird, seldomly entered biomes, and strats for these (spider-biome, wizzards tower, that stuff...)
I think blind folded or ng+28 start is the hardest noita I've ever played haha, those runs are 2 of the only challenge runs I haven't managed to complete yet.
10:39 kick, interact, and slot 1 are hokeyed to my mouse....movement is wonky in noita and for me, those important butons away from the movement keys makes things so much easier
It needs quite a bit more than a single direct nuke to kill the wand conoissuer. The boss has massive damage resistance to most types of damage. My best recommendation is utilizing one of the kill combos that can be found in any of my other guide videos (or even my all boss speedruns!) They are definitely a bit of a special case when it comes to dealing good damage to them. Hope this helps a little.
@@AliasGaming0 thanks for the help! I was comparing the stats on the wiki. He apparently doesn’t have explosive resistance? And it says the nuke deals 1000 dmg and he has 800 hp so I thought it might work. I’m too scared to try it on my run though lol
@@cason1029Explosive damage calculations are extremely convoluted, you will pretty much never get the indicated damage number as your result. If you wanted to kill Wand Con with nukes I would recommend getting explosion immunity, going through the tower and grabbing the tower nuke wand and strapping on a chainsaw. You will be able to machine gun nukes and it will take several passes and be exceedingly dangerous. It does eventually work, as this is a method I have used in the past as more of a meme than anything.
@@mosesbuddhajesus3362Yeah, I was super frustrated by that myself as we had already recorded the whole thing when I found out. (I had to have him record so the video quality would be ideal but I kind of just had to hope the sound balance would be decent. In future runs of this manor I will be extra diligent. I still felt this would be worth posting just because it's mostly me talking and informing them how to play anyway.
@@AliasGaming0 Dude, dont be hard on yourself! You are doing great. This sound issue doesnt take out the whole experience. You are doing a great job, and this is just a learning experience.
I was like why did you only half convert that tele flask, there's no reason not to spend the 5 seconds more to do the whole thing and eliminate the possibility of an unstable teleportation, (which happens repeatedly). I don't get the reasoning for the half measure
@@matthiasRaZieL you will find 3 of them, pay attention to the way they hold their staves. Basically you have to triangulate the location that is perfectly centered between them and then cast the portal spell.
The tablet is a consistent way to do high burst damage against tanky enemies. It can also be used to block bullets/explosions, can be used in all sorts of utility situations, it can also allow you to fly forever, kill enemies around corners and all sorts of crazy stuff. The tablet takes a long time to learn all its uses but trust me it is one of the most effective tools in the entire game.

Variable dynamite was insightful. Makes you really appreciate the design of this game
This was soooo funny to watch! I was mentally screaming this entire time when he just casually walks through the frogs n stuff

This video reminds me of my dad teaching me to drive.

I think that's the next natural step for sure!
Loved it, absoulutely the way a guide should be done. Master picking out small mistakes.
Oh man, i feel so anxious hearing you scold him. I have to practice so much before I take my Noita A-Levels!
I only felt comfortable doing that because I've spent a decent amount of time playing other games with Echinderm haha. He's like an honorary little brother.
What an absolutely golden idea. Beginner here and I think this will be super helpful

I'm not so bad at the game, can consistently win, but I've learnt some things I didn't think about before, while watching this. Nice.
Definitely make this into a series, its so fun to watch
"I cant believe you got away with that" is the best way to describe this run. I loved it.

Just loved this video of you talking someone though it all. Funny, entertaining and informative, great show guys!
This was brilliant watching he was really good in my eyes and listened so well.
I love this idea, please make it a series!
This was just so fun to watch. Yes, do more of this noob plus pro type concept. Learning so much

Would love to see this become a series. Loads of fantastic info in here
There's already a part 2! I will be sure to make time for more though :)

great video concept, i try to learning something from it!
ahh this is super useful man, exactly the guide i needed - Thank you!!
Great vid, learnt a lot as a noob.
Please do more of this!! :)
I watched it in one sitting, great video!
No lie here I listen to this every so often just to see how well I can't make it through my runs when I feel I need or want to
This video is gold.
"hopefully we can find a beam widener" I mean you could have put that third particle beam in with the triple scatter...

This is so tense lol. He's so agressive sometimes, makes me wanna scream. Takes some teacher's discipline to not overreact.
37:52 you can also look at your mana bar to see how much you have left in your flask
great vid! defo want more of this
it should be a series but with different people
I want this to be a series so bad. As a new player i learned a ton from this 🪄🧙♂️
I've got another one that we just did! Expect it soon :)

Hotkey comfort is super important in noita, so definitely whatever is working for you is great.
soooo helpful!
it's feels awsome look you (3000hr noita player) going difficult on playing it. you may try to let 0 hour noita's people to get your guide XD.
That's a super funny idea, I'll have to give that a go at some point.
