Also these videos give extra material for a vocal reel for any voice acting roles you want to try for

Kudos to you! Critically reviewing yourself like this in what some actors would say are their most embarrassing moments requires a lot of self-confidence and determination. I couldn't do it...but I'm not an actor. Good job.

As these are reaction videos, I found myself watching your reaction of yourself, and I think there is a certain honesty in that without showing vanity, if that makes any sense?!?
But also, watching your auditions was interesting and intriguing and you are quite good(.)
Best of luck in the future with this channel and your chosen career, Charis!

I love doing this every year because I really think it keeps me honest. Acting is so little about talent and so much about hard work.
I appreciate the kind words! ❤️

Very interesting to see these because I had no idea about self tapes. Very gutsy to put yourself out there on UA-cam putting yourself out there in the theatreverse. Thanks for sharing Charis

    I booked that !!
    A'fuggin'Bout time !
I was losing my patience with the 'didn't book' thing... I would NEVER make it in a job application process like that.
OBVIOUSLY, I'm not mentally built for the Theatre Kid Life.
Wow!! just got to the part where you're (actually) telling us you're going to be doing real work... and probably ignoring 'us'.
Well, at least I/we get to say "I knew her back when..."
Honestly tho, I hope you DO become so busy and in-demand that you don't have time for YT any more.
While you're still here, walk on our backs with PRIDE, Charis. I've been happy to see you grow on this channel... you are -and will continue to- kill it like a boss.
Now, while we still have time, I need to start sending you more of those stupid lyric fragments... just random bits that you can cobble into something real.
    Hick-hook lines like "Curling up with my Bar Belle" ;
Timeless gems like "Cash to burn puts more ash in the urn",
and "Taupin I ain't , n your Dwight needs more paint ... there's not enough shock in this act to put it onna better track' (aka yet another "Lets make babies and work mundane dead-end jobs" -song. yeehaw !! )
    Yeah, real uplifting stuff.
All I have to do is play back my life and the bad country lyrics start flowing like alimony in a puppy pile. (don't ask)
Anyway, despite my bitter-old-guy attitude tonight, I really do enjoy watching talent bloom... your audition vids are entertaining and of kind of awesome in that raw/onstage kinda way... no hiding behind professional lights and editing tricks.
    You're the real thing.
Thanks for sharing this shred of your journey with us.

    **'burning angelwings to dust."
Dayum, such a way with words... too bad that one's already taken. Well angel... you go be you, and knock us all out.

That was impressive. Only thing is, I'm sitting here thinking: What happened next, what happened next, what happened next? Where can I watch this show or play or movie? WHERE???
    🙂

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I really liked the intensity you brought to the bartender scene. My daughter is in high school and wants to be an actor. Last spring she was cast as County Paris in Romeo and Juliet as a freshman in her first role. She was extra thrilled because she got a death scene. 😂 I was a stage hand throughout my high school years back in the late Cretasious period, and stage crew manager my senior year. I really enjoy seeing the creative process. Keep kicking ass Charis. ❤

I lived in Dunwoody ga for about 9 months and my best friend from Chicago died there and I didn't even know he lived there

Same for me. I read that my friend, that I had lost track of, died just down the road and I never knew he lived there.

Treasure your ability to remember all those words. I'm incapable of doing that. I e been very fired for that type of work

Oh, you live in the greater ATL? That's cool. I'm in Alpharetta. Not that I would truly know but this seems to be the happening area for the Arts.

Atlanta has a pretty good size film industry and a stage industry unlike LA
