- Album: James Brown Sings Raw Soul (1967)
Brown recorded "Let Yourself Go" after hours in The Latin Casino nightclub during a ten-day performing engagement there. This edited version of the recording was released as a single. There's also an instrumental version which appeared on "Live at the Garden".

One of his best songs in. The sixties.
My favorite JB song.
The Congo player is killing it.
This was *the first JB record with Pee wee* who start in the direction of the band on February of 1966. "Bring it up" had a more syncopated drumbeat", but here is listening *one of the earliest chicken funky guitar strums by Jimmy Nolen* .
Appreciate this trivia...
Too damn funky James Brown was God's gift to the world a real bad ass
Not one of his memorable hits but the groove will be there forever
It's my favorite of all his songs (or at least the ones played on Philly soul-radio stations in the 60s).

Yeah one of my favorite JB tunes.
Probably one of his best, although not as well known..
This type of funk and soul should be illegal. JB knows how to blend music into a strong powerful message to make you move.

At 0:39 begins the release of the *"funky chicken scratch guitar"* technique of Jimmy Nolen's pick. Nolen was demostrate this before on The Johnny Otis song "Jimmy and the Hand Jive" (1958).
