Omg... My Mom played this album all the time!! I used to sit there rocking on the couch falling asleep with this music in the background. I am glad my Mother had good taste in music!! I have passed it on to my kids.🥰
LOL my Daughter loves my music too. But there was this one Al Green song that I would blast. In the morning when she wouldn't get up for School. And I would jump on her bed. Half of her was laughing. But the other half was "Mom stop. Leave me alone." And she would try to cover her head. But be laughing at the same time. Worked like a charm. 🤣

When my husband died almost four year ago, I played HOW DO YOU MEND A BROKENHEART every single morning for 18 months. I can now listen to it without sobbing. It was so instrumental to my healing process. I ❤️ Al Green!!!

*_John 3.16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”_*
_Jesus Christ loves you. Only Jesus Christ saves. Repent and be saved. God bless you, and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family._

I grew up listing to this man and still remember every song, every beat, & every word.
I remember cleaning the 8 trak recorder. The slot next to it on the player would tape this every weekend. The gathering of card players after the dinner was a godsend. Love and happiness. Always have a new tape for the next month party. Soul and togetherness. .65 years old now Wendell B.
Omg... My Mom played this album all the time!! I used to sit there rocking on the couch falling asleep with this music in the background. I am glad my Mother had good taste in music!! I have passed it on to my kids.🥰
Boosie G still bump it to this day and
I love al green he don't miss a beat 🥰🥰
Good for you, my mother played the blues and calypso music, used to make me wanna jump off a building.
@@maureenspano6988 Awe girl thanks for sharing that story you’re gonna make me cry. My Mother passed away in February of 1991 and (her Dad) my Paw-Paw passed away in January 1991. I was close to both. It just makes me reminisce of all those good times.😔❤️
Al Greene's music will live on forever! Soulful, heartfelt, romantic, inspiring beautiful love songs. Brings back good memories from the 70's -- happy times!!!

I'm jamming this loud while I take a bubble bath 🛁 They don't make music like this anymore. Such classic, great vibes in Al's music 🎵🎶💕
My parents loved Al Green, growing up at 5 years old, I thought this music was depressing. Now I can’t get enough of it.
Hello dear,how are you doing?
Im 64 and still in love with it😊
In Al Green's full album on UA-cam I'm living for you there's no ads and it's very annoying to try and listen to an album with constant interruptions
🎉
Another blessed soul angel sent to us from above. Been enjoying this music since the 70's when I was a teenager; always makes me feel young again.
What a voice. Al green is the master of soul. He takes me right back in time. Love him.
Vibrational Alchemy; the vocal intonations and soul rhythm create a multi-level resounding harmony that outlives the 3rd dimension.
