I freaked when you said you put in your notice without being approved- it took my partner and I 5 months to be approved to our first home together, we were both unemployed and also had no rental history so it was hard. We ended up staying in that place for almost 5 years, and had just moved to another place in Dec which took us a few months also to get approved to, but Allah always provides just have to hold on and have faith. So happy for you guys that you're settled now, mashallah Yara is precious!! lmao, Cocomelon gets old... my son was hooked!
I've recently started to eat porridge I have it with dried cranberries and fresh banana and collagen. It is helping keeping me full and helping the joint pain.

My fiancé is from Togo and the way they do things there is much different from here. Waiting till the 30 day notice to look and apply is not going to work. Especially with being self employed. My fiance is as well and we had to end up just getting another apartment. He didn't want to but i personally was happy. You add another bill with the lawn if they do not include it in the rent as an apartment does. You possible have to buy a lawnmower or find a lawn service. However, you live and you learn. Luckily you have family and you guys made it work!

I’m so sorry to hear about your stressful house situation!! You’re still learning adult lessons while being new parents, it’s a lot to deal with! Luckily you had the money to stay in the hotel and relocate. Now you know better for next time, it was a life lesson. you know to have a place lined up before turning in your 30 days notice, and you can make sure you collect proof of income from these sponsorships so they don’t look you over when you list self-employed.

Its just a good way for her to communicate with us. She is still learning to talk to sometimes the sign language helps her get her point across😂

What method is of sleep training did you use? Currently trying to transition my 9 month old to a crib from co-sleeping ☺️
We did the Ferber method where you basically go in at increased timed intervals after paying them down. Basically a more comforting version of cry out method. Yara was already pretty good at self soothing so it wasn’t too hard but the first night is the worst just remember, it will be so easy nights 2 and 3!!

When you say not working out? Do you mean like after give your information it feel through? I ask because I’m kind deal with reality for the first time and give them my info makes me question everything…
It was different for every place honestly..some places people put in higher offers than us last minute and we weren’t really given a chance to negotiate. I think alot of people simply didn’t like that I was self employed even though I make more than enough money🙄there also was just a huge demand in our area so it was tough in general
We really want to buy next year however the market 😭😭😭
I refuse to pay a ridiculous extra amount. We are planning for a vegas wedding and then trying for a honeymoon baby. We have been together for 6 years. We finally have our finances for kids. Babies are more of a priority for us.
