We so missed you guys and we’ll love a podcast if you guys decide to do it! I listen to other marriage podcasts, but I don’t know any with Black Muslim couples! Even though podcasts are popular now, everyone has something to offer with their individual experiences. 👏🏾

Hello Yasmine, here’s a tip to help with sugar spiking. Make sure that all the meals have fiber it helps with glucose. My go to is usually chia seeds because its packed with fiber or brocoli. If you balance each of Yara’s meal with enough fiber she wont be having sugar spikes because fibers helps with the way the sugar goes in blood. Im not a nutritionist but its a nutritionist that helped me manage my blood sugar and this way i rarely have yo correct my blood sugar. Also since Yara has a pump she doesn’t do carb counting ?

I have the same beliefs in homeschooling as well. I more so look into the whole thing as world schooling, bc simply through life you're learning everything. In the beginning I struggled bc I thought I was brining the school system into my home but that's not the case at all. I've been homeschooling my oldest since two and he's six and now my youngest she's three and getting into her own learning rhythm.
I love that you talked about musuem visits and not being tied to a desk all day.

Yasmine I am elated that you uploaded a video. Girl, i needed this! Its so relatable. Being a mama is no joke. When you sat down to eat your lunch and was like the girls are napping i felt that in my soul lol..my 4 yr old its a hit or miss with naps. Yes, i would be happy if you guys have a podcast or just q&A about young married life. When I was younger I wish i had that because no one could relate. Marriage is up/down I was laughing in my head when you were like when you feel like sometimes you guys feel like roommates/ and beefing smh...dates are much needed sigh sigh sigh lol. You are a excellent mama please dont feel bad about being tired. We as moms do alot breastfeeding etc. I breastfed for 25 months and I felt it in my soul where you were like when it starts affecting your parenting girl its okay to stop..i wasnt getting no sleep smh ...when it comes to school im with you I was a Sahm and she did half days at 3.5 yrs old...i cried so much the first week she didn't lol smh...love love your videos keep them coming sis❤

A nature school! Very cool. Also. A different perspective if you haven't thought of it already: Get a tutor that will explain the homeschool material. This way it's a certified tutor/teacher, and have them use the homeschool material.

Assalamualaikum, have you looked into islamic schools? No way in hell I'd put my kids in public schools. But I love that you want to home school them. It's safe, and parents are the first teachers.
