I was in the 4th grade when this song came out, I was maybe 10. I loved this song. I had a tape of songs I recorded off the radio and this was one I sat all weekend waiting for it to come on so I could get it. This one and the song miracle by bon Jovi...this one held up but I laugh when I hear the bon Jovi song I liked. I miss childhood. Everything is at the touch of a screen now. I can hear this anytime I want to. No waiting for the d.j to play it.
I grew up listening to Roxette with my mom. A few years ago we had an opportunity to see Roxette on concert here in Norway where I live, unfortunately we didn't make it, it's now one of the biggest regrets of my life because Marie passed away soon after. If you ever get the opportunity to see an artist you love perform live, GO!! Enjoy life while it's happening! ❤️

RIP, sweet Marie. This video made me a lifelong fan. When I saw this as a 13-year-old boy on a tv screen through a shop window, I was immediately hooked. At that age this was magic to me! I was really thinking that they were sitting on the wing of a plane. Now I know what a bluescreen is, but this hasn't changed my love for this video. I follow Roxette my whole life and have bought all their albums. I will miss them. I will miss Marie.
Happy 32nd anniversary to the Joyride album! I have such fond memories of that day, April 2, 1991 - my friend and I went to Camelot Music just to buy the Joyride cassette on the day it was released! Played it all day afterwards. I still play it every year on this date, except now I have the remastered CD from 2009. The title song was huge in the U.S. at the time, all over the radio. Sadly it seems to have been forgotten since, and Roxette seems to get relegated to "one hit wonder" status for "The Look" even though they had so many other hit songs. Fortunately, there is a local station around here that now occasionally plays "Joyride", so I'm glad to see it being rediscovered.

Debes tomar en cuenta que una gran mayoría utiliza esta plataforma para ver y consumir esa basura, ahí está el meollo del asunto.
La cantidad de visitas no importan para nada. Maluma es la música que escuchan ahora así que es obvio que lo actual tenga más repercusión. Cuando esos chicos sean grandes, muchos de ellos van a querer escuchar mejores cosas y vendrán acá. Lo único que importa en la música es la trascendencia y solo las buenas bandas lo logran.

Unlike me, they will remain fresh and exciting - because this was real music, made by real musicians who were passionate about what they did. I still love their sound - and it still makes me dance. (Not very well, but it's the thought that counts.)

This is my favourite song. Marie was such a badass. I really looked up to her as a kid. My all time favourite band. The epitome of my coming of age. I feel so fortunate that this is the music I grew up listening.
1991 never sounded so good! It was the last year of the 80's feel good anthems. Grunge came in next, get me a drink.
I think swedisch people can be proud about Roxette, because this band is one of the best in music history. Per Gessle is great songwriter and vokalist, Marie Fredriksson is the most beautiful woman in the world

This is such a gut punch. Joyride is one of the first songs I can remember listening to as a child. Always loved hearing any Roxette song play since then. RIP Marie. If there's a heaven she's playing a concert with David Bowie, George Michael, Freddy Mercury and Laura Branigan.
Marie gets all the props but man Per Gessle's voice is as sharp and pure as a winter wind. Pay attention to it in this video. Still a fan in 2020. Love to all.
