Yeah, sadly the game didn't do a good job in making one feel immersed in the world and giving one the feeling that the character actually lives there.

Have you any idea how incongruent the sound of cicadas are in Merry Olde England? We don't have them here - it sounds like a Florida swamp!

@@TheVaultofAmbience the crickets and birds chirping are too overwhelming. Creates a white noise impression with only a couple calmer bits, when in particular early sunrise there’s always that cozy calmness and stillness. A longer bit with the music stopping and overall less cricket intensity would be ideal for me.
If this is meant to be somewhere in the UK there would be NO FROGS chirruping. We just don't have them in towns or villages, and only sometimes (rarely) in the countryside. Spoilt by lack of research.
