- Welcome to Iroh's Magic Bookstore! 🪄📚✨🦉
Iroh is a powerful sorcerer with incredible abilities and also the keeper of the Magic Forest. His Bookstore contains some of the rarest books in the world. He is known to be the wisest man on earth and people from everywhere come to his store to seek guidance. Then he tells them “Your answer is in this book”. The more they read, the wiser they get as the magic flows throughout the pages.

Tired from school, it was friday yet you had to make your homework because in the weekends. You also have a part time job to do and basically stressful life. Sitting under a tree, you couldn't seem to fetch any internet for answers so you decided to stand up and walk out of the forest
Problem is, you got lost. The woods are both scary and beautiful and this was part of it. Growing anxious, you continued to walk further that is until you saw something glowing in the middle of the woods.
Curiosity growing you went closer so you saw it was a cottage. No, it was a cottage-library. With old themed structure since it uses lanterns instead, weird for something in 21st but it's in the woods so weird things can happen.
Taking a peek on the window, you saw shelves of books and decided to enter to see this place more. There was shuffling on the opposite direction and you saw a tall man with long sleeves, glasses, blonde hair, green eyes and....pointy ears?
He seems to be arranging the books when he saw you, you were stunned when he noticed your presence but calmed when he smiled. "It's been 60 years since i had a visitor come in" 60 what now? You were confused.
He standed up and walked up to you "What's your name dear?" You softly said "Y/N" he chuckled "Henry. The librarian of this library, pleasure being your acquaintance little mortal" he quickly bowed his head
"Y-you too...." But you weren't aware you were still holding your phone and notebook doing your homework. "What is this black thing?" He was referring to your phone "This?" You held it out "It's a smartphone, you.... don't know?"
He paused "Smartphone....heh, human technology sure evolves fast. And what seems to be troubling you?" You suddenly remembered "Oh i was looking for answers in my homework since i was doing it in the forest for some alone time, my classmates are noisy but then there's no signal here and somehow..."
"Looking answers for a homework? My my, you came to the right place. This bookstore has all answers. Follow me my little rose" he gestured you to follow him deep in the library. You were hesitating, should you even follow....?

No matter that Iroh has its own lore here, for me it will always be Uncle Iroh from Avatar: the Last Airbender.
For me, he opened a little bookstore inside his tea house in the woods of Ba Sing Se, and happily lives his life there, selling books and good tea.

Seeing comments in all languages from all walks of life really puts into perspective how such simple things can bring us together. Music is one of the things that humans have used for thousands of years to communicate as well as bring together. We have evolved, but we have not changed, and I think that is quite lovely to think about

This atmosphere gives a soothing and magical feeling! Lovely work. There is something special about it.
*The Queen had a secret that ONLY her husband knew she was also the ruler of ancient buildings and books protecting them until they decide who was worthy of their shelter and knowledge she know if they were worthy by her gift for you see whenever she was alone day or night any ancient building she entered it would speak to her and tell her of their woes and she in turn would do everything she could to protect them from harm. Same thing with ancient books she just didn't know how to fix them and they'd slowly die in her arms that's when she met her husband who'd be her King. For he was the master of fixing any book that came his way and they both had a love of stories and books. So at night when everyone was asleep she'd sneak in and talk to the home the King not far behind for he is a book fixer though and though and for the bad owners they'd say. "My Queen they are cruel to each other my body is a mess they tell each of them to pick it up and then the mess will stay there for days and the children have no food to eat and no beds to sleep my fire and windows are the only thing keeping them safe and warm". And the books will say. "My Queen the mother is in a loveless marriage the only way she can fall in love is with our stories our knights and princes help her to see the beauty of the world. The children seek adventures and friendship our king's and dragon's help them to support each other. The Queen and King hearing of their pain will sentence the bad owners to rot in their dungeon for the rest of their lives and the children can live with them. For the good owners the home will say. "My Queen the owners are wonderful they filled me with beautiful colors and keeps me nice and clean they love each other so much and the mattresses are so soft and the pillows are so fresh and comfortable I will protect them from harm and cold". And the books will say. "My Queen the mother is amazing she reads out loud to the children that are too young to to understand us and cook wonderful food from our recipes the Kings and Queens of our stories give her hope for a better future for her children. For the children that do understand us we bring them into our stories were they can laugh and play our clowns and animals make them smile a day long". So the King and Queen gives them the building and the books for as long as they wish to stay and the children of the good and bad owners can get a wonderful education in the King and Queens newest school*.

This music was perfectly peaceful to me. I played it tonight for writing night with a friend, with low warm and colored lights around the room and behind the plants and a scented candle burning. It was so calming that I kept it playing it till the end even after she left, while I continued writing and then reading. Thanks for this beautiful, good ambience. I'm perfectly contented.

@@alexandrapdlh9559 hey :) It’s just whoever wants to comes over and we work individually on things within the same space. Some people work on the books they’re writing (and I’m usually the editor going over parts they have ready), sometimes people do homework or journal or read, whatever they want. It’s quiet and peaceful (except for the times when we start talking and get distracted lol, but even then it’s fulfilling). Everyone gets a comfy spot to sit or recline on-bed, chair, window nook, mat. I need to get more seating to accommodate now that more people want to join, like a small couch (or I’d love a hanging chair, I just don’t think it’d fit in my room).

Pine Greenwillow walked into the hut, being careful not to make any noise. Their lantern illuminated the book-filled walls and they smiled to themself, almost forgetting their current situation. When the thought of Lily popped back into their head, they clutched the strap of their satchel. Right. Iroh. The spell. 'Hello?' They called into the dusty shelves, watching for any trace of movement. 'I'm here because I need a spell for my cousin! She's sick, and-' Their eyes rested on a book, laying on a pedestal. 'Spells of The Stars.' They creeped over quietly, but before they could even read any of the spells, they heard an old voice from behind them growl, 'Get away from my books.'
Pine fell backwards in suprise, and caused a great number of things to fall. Agility had never been their strong suit.
Iroh stared at them, his icy blue eyes glinting in the sunlight. He wore a simple robe, with a hood hung over his head. He had a long grey beard, and, though he acted angry, Pine couldn't help but notice the small amused smile he tried so desepreatly to hide. He either found them entertaining, or still enjoyed solving problems as much as he had when Pine's parents were children. He was so involved back then, constantly roaming the village, according to Pine's father. Now he kept to himself, in this tiny hut he called his bookstore.
He examined Pine, the lowly elf messenger from a tiny village without money, reputation, or power. Why had they come to him? Why, at his lowest moment, must there still be people who could find him?
Because, no matter if he was in the depths of despair, the world continued on, he decided. People lived or died, and the world went on, without much recognition.
Iroh sat down and coughed. His old age wasn't a secret. 'So, why don't I get us some tea and you can tell me what's going on?'
Pine wanted to scream that they didn't have time for tea, that they needed to help their cousin now, but they knew that that would be too dangerous. They nodded reluctantly and sat down.
Iroh watched intently as Pine placed their fingertips together and made the form of a lopsided maple leaf. Elf magic had always been interesting to him. 'So.' Pine cleared their throat and started to explain the situation. They had been bringing messages across the sleepy elf town of Darnassea when they received news that their younger cousin Lily had become gravely ill. They had heard of a spell, only preformable by an archmage, that could save her. The doctors had said that she was too far gone to be saved, but pine couldn't accept it.
'And so,' they finished, sipping the last of their tea, 'I was hoping you could come and help her.'
Iroh stared at Pine's eyes: one brown, and one green, shining with determination. He studied their short brown hair, tangled and uneven. Their clothes, worn and tattered. Should he go? Should he help another again, save a life, feel the satisfaction of a good deed?
'I don't have the time.' He told them.
They dropped their head on the table. 'Okay.' they mumbled, their eyes slowly filling with tears. They stood up and walked towards the door. 'Sorry for bothering you.'
Iroh was filled with a sudden surge of pity. 'Wait!' he exclaimed. They stopped. 'I know somewhere you can go.'
