We played a bit of the shire at the funeral of my grandmother and unfortunately also for my mother at age 59. I'm not deeply religious or anything but I will ask to play the shire as well for my funeral. In my dreams I see them stepping out of the cozy houses and welcoming me inside.
"Where Hobbits Dwell," there are the comforts of home. A fire in the hearth, food smells in the air, when the sunrise in the east blesses your table. 🍗🌽🧀🍞🍺🍰.
This is what I feel as I listen to your fable. A few hours to go away within my imagination. Thank you for sharing I enjoyed my stay. I hope to visit once again.

I recently came across this video and I have to say it has been pretty fitting for me this time of the year. From my early morning walks to working in my garden. Dealing with the changing of the seasons watching summer slip away from the sky as the days grow shorter. I have shared my thoughts on how the world changes and how things stay the same with people snickering at me for it. Some when I point out how the summer sun is no longer with us and that 12 noon no longer resembles what it did and how the days look different from the sky and shadows actually are surprised when they see it. I guess maybe it's just me doing my daily routine that everyone around me has come to be used to and those new to me find humor and strangeness in. Each year the children get older and some have stopped even remotely saying hi to me like they did when younger. But there is still always the beaming faces of the little ones new to the bus route that see my towering sunflowers along the fence row, that see the bright orange pumpkins growing in their patch waiting for their time to become lack-o-lanterns. I guess maybe I've just gotten old is all.
