Learn more about the First Nations here: maps.fpcc.ca/ I want to acknowledge that this trip took me through the unceded territories of many first nations, including the Samahquam Nation, Leq’a:mel First Nation, Scowlitz First Nation, Skatin Nation, Lil’wat Nation, xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
If you all remember my big week-long motorcycle trip out to Idaho, and back to Washington, with the new Exie XC bike, well, this is a slightly more dialed-in version of that set up! I’m riding a Yeti SB130 Lunch Ride, which is a great all-around bike that can handle XC mileage with enduro gnar. Here’s an affiliate link to learn more about the Yeti: bit.ly/YetiSB130TurqT2JKW
I am using a 2x2 Cycles bicycle rack on the motorcycle, which works great for most on-road applications. However, it’s not built for off road, and realistically, not many people are going to ride a “bike-on-a-bike” off road. If you’d like to learn more about the 2x2 rack, here’s an affiliate link: bit.ly/2x2BikerackJKW
Now on to the motorcycle- that’s a 2014 Suzuki VSTROM 1000. The bike isn’t far off stock, though I did upgrade it with the following parts (affiliate links when available):

Cycra ProGuard hand guards: bit.ly/CycraProGuardJKW
Rox oversize 1 ⅛” bar risers: bit.ly/RoxRisersJKW

Hey Jeff, what brand is your drone?
What a sick adventure. As a guy who has done both sports separately I think this is very hardcore. respect
Same
same 2. this would be my adventure of a life :)
The youtube algorithm gods have blessed me. Everything about this video is amazing. The filming, commentary and editing was perfect. I'm sure it would have been cool to have a crew, but there is something special about solo trekking. Subscribed.
Not only camping, motorcycle riding, and biking, but also FILMING! Praise!
Also, LMNT is awesome.
"I don't want to go too fast as this trail is narrow" meanwhile vapor trails are coming off the stanchion tubes..... Great video Jeff, I appreciate all of the hard work that goes into a trip like this. I have used both Moto and my Jeep for back country MTB trips and adding cameras into the mix to make a film is a lot of work. Those trails look epic!
i really respect your acknowledgement of the first nations territories you travelled through! raising the bar again and again man.
I didn't notice how long this video was as I never normally start long videos. I must admit though I was hooked and couldn't stop watching. The idea of going off on an adventure like that captivated me. Would love to see more videos like this.
Loving the adventure bike videos Jeff. Thanks for taking me along on your adventure, the effort put into your videos is very much appreciated.
Next-level bravery and adventure. Thank you for taking us along, Jeff. Really, really enjoyed this 🤘🏼
This was really fun to watch! Great adventures both on the moto and pedal bikes!
Super COOL film. Thanks for the hard work Jeff!!!
This was like a movie and I enjoyed it well. hats off for the efforts to put all together in this short video. loved the random manuals on those sketchy trails.
Awesome video, love the adventure and story telling.
This is adventure! Working with people you just met to get over an obstacle. Excellent
more please! thanks for the effort of making this video Jeff
What an Epic adventure!, awesome scenery & great video. Long rides thru the forest are my favorite's, stoked for more....🤟🏽
Great time watching this-brought me back to my own Chilcotin backcountry tour a couple of years back. My heart is with these great people as they try to recover and rebuild from these November 2021 floods. I’m sure much of what I just saw here is unrecognizable or unreachable. Hope as well that you are safe and dry in Bellingham.
Great trip, great video, Look forward to your next epic adventure.
Man this is impressive. I’ve always loved street riding, camping, and just got into mountain biking. This is the perfect mix between the three and I don’t know how you manage to pack your whole life on that bike for a trip like that. Can’t wait to see more of your videos 🤘🏽
Epic trip Jeff! Thanks for all the effort to make the video and share with us 🤙
2x2 hell yeah represent! Took my AT and mtb from Minnesota to moab last October. Felt like a hero.. it doesn't get any better than bike on bike. You ain't alone out there Jeff🤙🏽keep ripping!! Thanks for this production.
This is what mountain biking is all about! Thanks for sharing your cool adventure.
awesome vid Jeff. Something magical about that area of BC
What a great trip, and a great video. Glad you got to experience the disaster zone known as Harrison lake!
Whether it's on a moto or not, your adventure videos are always a massive motivator for me, and I'm sure in the depth of winter I'll be back to get another taste of what's to come next season. Huge fan of your narration and the amount of time you took to film and capture all the moments that made this trip such an adventure!
That was great. Really admire your adventurous spirit.
Thanks Andrew!
Awesome video, it inspired me to do some outdoor adventures. Thanks for sharing!
Super fun vid, Jeff. Your good attitude turns bad situations into rad ones. And I also appreciate how you turned full metric on all your measurements when coming into Canada. Hope you enjoyed yourself, despite the challenges.
Great vid Jeff. You've proven yourself again as a true adventurer. Cheers.
Just found your channel researching on a bike I’m looking to buy and now I can’t stop watch all your videos lol great work man!!!
I love videos like this, stoked i found your channel! Keep up the good vibes and content man!
Awesome adventure! Amazing looking trails
Long time mountain bike and Motocross guy here and did my first ADV ride this summer. I can’t imagine doing both, filming, and going solo. Mad respect! Video was killer
Amazing content. Thank you for taking your time to share it with us. 👍
I dig it, Jeff. I would definitely keep watching this kind of content when you can put it together. I'm interested to hear about all the stuff you brought with you on this adventure. Maybe another video...
History before our eyes. No shortcuts just talent
Cool adventure Jeff. Loved the story telling style.
Awesome video and love the adventure trips. Keep them up as you can!
Looks like an awesome epic trip. Great content Jeff. Awesome awesome awesomeness.
That was cool adventuring. Very different biking video. I was just looking for a 5-10 min video and didn't realize it was longer format until 30 minutes in, LOL. That looks like some awesome epic trails in a beautiful landscape.
This looked like an awesome adventure! Nice one!
Awesome adventure! Loved watching.
Wow amazing trip Jeff🤯🤯 and yes you're right that is the IFHT guys logo 🙌
Wow I really enjoyed this video !! Great work
wow what a fantastic epic adventure! thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching Ken!
You’re killing it in the adventure backcountry space. Thanks for showing all the hassles(memories) in route to the mtb riding.
Thank you! I find that I think back to adventures like this all the time, but even the best of local rides I barely remember. Gotta do what you love and remember!
What an epic trip….great vid Jeff!
Sick vid dude!! Glad to see you had a good time.
Great Video,
Took me back to my Biker day's back in the early 2000's.
I love the Motorcycle / mountain bike stuff. I saw a couple in Moab 3 years ago with the 2X2 bike rack and have wanted one since but first I had to learn to ride a motorcycle. I got that done then Covid put a damper on things here Canada. Summer 2022 is going to be the year to travel with my MTB on my Africa Twin. Keep on making those vids they are all good.
Im working towards adv bike for this
What a great adventure for sure and Yes more adventure moto segments please in the future. cheers!
This journey... Amazing in every aspect of it
What an adventure Jeff. I know nothing about moto but that was extremely entertaining and well told. Keep it up!
Well put, nothing to add! :-)
Welcome back to Canada. That was a great video. Well done.
This was such a sweet documentary. Great trip and riding man!!!
First timer here. Really enjoyed your adventure. Loved the "create your own campsite" at each stop. I used to do epic rides like that in my youth but now am doing long rides on the eBike. Want to do some bike packing with it net summer. Ride on and be safe on those trips out in the middle of nowhere. I also enjoy the problem solving part of adventures.
Thanks for sharing your adventure! I order some LMNT samples and I am excited to try them out.
Yes more moto/mtb adventure! Please! Please! Please! 🙏 Best video ever. Glad you made it back.
Love these adventure videos! You are a great story teller
Great video, thanks for the sample pack link.
loved it, looked like a great adventure with some excellent riding.
That was a nice adventure Jeff 👍🏼 it’s good that you enjoyed our beloved BC’s backcountry 🤘🏼 hope I can meet you someday when you hit the north shore again 👊🏼
Great stuff Jeff😎 great Adventure buddy 👌😉🚴🏿♂️
I can’t imagine the effort a trip like this takes and I’m sure it’s frustrating to try to convey that in a video but I just wanted to say I really appreciate it and I’m inspired by your spirit of adventure. Keep it up! Love your videos
Great video HUGE entertainment factor... thank you from AZ!
That is the most amazing video I have ever watched, love mtbing and motorbikes!
This looks like an awesome time! love the idea of mixing MTB and off road motorcycling
Slept at the cabin in the Chilcotins last august!! I'm telling you this place is special! There were 2 things I regretted not packing with me for this overnight trip: Camp shoes and another beer. Well believe me or not. I found a pair of guest sandals in the cabin AND a forgotten beer in the creek nearby. Safe to say this cabin did not disappoint!
Yes, more moto and mtb please. So cool. Makes me dream of East Coast adventures.
Awesome stuff! Definitely do more bike-on-a-bike videos.
More Bikes with Bikes adventures! This was awesome!! 🤘
Super ballsy and epic trip brother. I love riding mtb, also love driving a motorcycle, also love to camp. Have never done all of them together. I’m certain that I would not have been as skilled on the gravel roads on a motorcycle. Nice video.
Wow.. Good Saturday morning watch with breakfast. Up in the mountains with No jacket in the rain! I was getting cold. And you scared a Grizzly. Holy.
OK Jeff this footage completely confirms the fact that you are one tough Human in a good way I appreciate the footage and it’s inspiring to know what you can do when you put your mind to it
Damn that was awesome, thanks for sharing Jeff and definitely make more of them.
Thanks for watching, René! Definitely hoping to do more!
You are so underrated! Great video yet again.. I love these proper adventures!
I love when the moto and mtb come together! 🤠🤙
Amazing content!!! Thank you Jeff.
Such a great video man. I love virtually going on these adventures with you haha
Thanks for a the great adventure ride trip video.
2 things i'm super into, love the ADV/MTB video!
Me too, man!
Very cool trip! Loved the river crossing around the construction with the other guys. Moto people are awesome that way. Had that same X grip phone mount and had the same thing happen when not using their rubber band-ish holder. Replaced it with a mount from Hondo garage called the perfect squeeze. Best mount I have ever seen and would work great for your use FYI.
That was awesome.
Hope to see more Moto/MTB vids with the new bike!
Thanks Rich- I might sell a bicycle or two and invest in a real sweet moto, but it's going to be a little while until the weather gets better. Or maybe I'll get a trailer for the van and head south, would be a lot more comfortable for Nov-April!
Yes, more motorcycle adventure videos please.
love the ADV/mtb trips, keep them coming
I was genuinely surprised to not see Jeff popping a wheelie every 5 seconds on his motorcycle
Man, completely crazy trip, never seen noone combining a bike with a bike :P engine and legs. #1. Great cut, great impressions, great story telling! thanks for this!
Thank you Mike!!! Excited to get the next motorcycle and send some trips!
Your videos are awesome, the work you put into them is unsurpassed. I am inspired to do more adventure type trips when I watch this stuff. Although I could do without the rain! Hahaha! Love the content keep it up!
Cabin in the middle of a wilderness, sleep over and get attack by the SLASHER!!!! Muhahahaha. Awesome find there!!!!!
You totally gone "back Country" there.... so many potential hazards, including a chance of meeting a Grizzly Bear!!!
Love the adventure bike videos! Pumped to see what the next bike is :)
Thanks Will! I secretly want a 1090 for good freeway manners, but then I also don’t wanna die on the freeway in the city in the first place… gonna do some fly and ride trips on rentals this winter to try some different bikes out. Have never thought about a Triumph but they sure fall in value quick, meaning they are now an option too! Africa Twin typically gets called “Boring” and I don’t wanna risk my life on something Boring 😂. But regardless anything will be better off road than the Vstrom!
Fantastic video!
Love these epic trip vids, and them make me jealous!
Dude i love the adventure videos!! Great job man!
Great video. Liked it much more than just gear reviews.
Thanks Steven! I'd much rather post stuff like this than gear reviews, but the audience much prefers the gear stuff, so I just try to do both. Thanks for watching!
Met you in the summer, park facility operator and avid mountain biker myself. Was drooling over your mtb rack setup on the moto at the Bridal Falls Shell gas station.
favourite channel right now!!!
Would definitely like to see more exploration/adventure content from you. Combining ADV moto with MTB makes for pretty rad vids 👍🏻
I found this video to be really engaging because of the adventure aspect. More please. About your cooking channel tho... haha
Awesome vid Jeff! that's looks so cool
Epic adventure!
