Thank you for the challenge East! It was such a blast to brainstorm for the challenge. Funnily enough, my brother and I were thinking that you could get higher by getting more magna evo effects so congrats to Mox for actually figuring it out! We were also biased with a Jesmon GX with 420k DP haha And even though, we won on a technicality, we do in fact take thoseeee! Anyways, thank you for the challenge and I will do my best for the future challenges!
Dang, listening to myself I can tell I was recording at 4 am for this vid 😂 I think I failed execution of the combo and had to restart at least 20 times. I guess I should have started with one of the cards in hand on top to properly go through the turn phases, but I had multiple flow charts and notes sheets going just to make sure execution was correct so I kinda got lost in the sauce drawing for turn 😅 Thanks East for hosting this competition! It was super exciting and fun to think of all of the possibilities! Looking forward to the next one! 🎉

The rulings were definitely messy between the video, document, and then especially the additional comments on UA-cam and the discord. Really good video. Magnamon armor strat did pop in my head when i first thought of this challenge. Only issue really was just dumping your entire deck which people jndead found a way. Mine was eliminated due to the rulings not being clarified at the beginning. Though giving 11 out of my 12 unnecessary digimon 43k dp was funny. I had a blast.

The magna loops are honestly impressive LOL, honestly love how reminiscent of how people build combo decks in yugioh to accomplish the most BS endboard, and this is basically that.
My favorite was definitely the one with Tactimon. It's by far one of my favorite cards in the entire game and I was SO HAPPY to see it in action again in none of than a DP flex contest 😂
Would love for the next set of rules to be thought out a little better. Had an absolute blast coming up with a submission for this, but the changing of rules post vid release and the vagueness/unclarity of what a "legal" board state could be held this challenge back.
TaskMaster bonus: Under Shivamon lock/Emergency Program Shutdown! (aka no option cards) cause all the submissions shown use a lot of option cards mine is still illegal by rules but setting it up in real duel time makes it legal and possible TaskMaseter idea: Most amount of DP on board (all digimon)
Super fun video, I think it would be cool to see the most amount of security attacks a deck could generate in a single turn. Thinking some form of Ulforce with opponent having hit 4 atomic inferno in security turn before?
I agree on the muddiness of the initial rules. I was under the impression you could give your opponent 5 cards total, be they security OR trash OR on field OR hand
Play "We Have to Stop Fighting!" (BT3-099). Attack opponent's Digimon with BlackWarGreymon (BT2-112) + Palmon (ST4-04) inheritable. Infinite DP. You can also add any non-[Once Per Turn] [When Attacking] inheritable to get that effect infinite times too!
So I just checked because I was pretty sure that I went through the entire turn including the draw phase and I got to 300k on my submition only to find out that yooutube took down my video for some reason, even if it was unlisted and I didn't edit it at all with music or anything, so, I'll make sure to not make everything last minute with the next task master :c
@@Raptor11794 Infinites were not allowed. There was also a restriction of 5 cards on board/hand for your opponent. So you have a max of 5 ACEs to use as memory fodder.
Just thinking on it from that last video, couldn’t you have maybe swapped out a darkness claw for a Lament of Friendship and something like death claw to find a way to endlessly loop that Avenge to go on forever? Probably too specific to get to that point while managing those extra cards tho Also, I think half the fun of taskmaster is that the rules are relatively vague and can be abused. Loved calling them out on not drawing
Yeah the card draw was done in the spirit of the original show! I want to try and capture the same hilarity that ensues from the vagueness of the rules in future challenges as well!
I am 99% sure there can be an infinite combo with a Millith Loop core and AvengeKid looping where you can loop 1 extra DP option forever 👀 Too bad I only now learned about this challenge and didn't have a chance to Lab it 🤣
Waruseadramon combo with ST4 Palmon in the stack makes infinite DP - Do I win? Opp' starts with LV3/4 in trash and something suspended on board. Promote ST4 Palmon, Dimension Scissors Palmon, Digivolve into Green/purple LV4, Digivolve into Waruseadramon > perform Waruseadramon combo, attacking suspended and redirecting into the Digimon brought back. Since ST4 Palmon is not once per turn, you can gain infinite DP
Btw, it stacking a ton of dp buffs onto bt15 metalgarurumon and recycling them with avenge 4 times, but then I swung with triple alliance and suspended/unsuspended metalgarurumon 3 times with its own effect and with an inheritable, tripling everything afterward. The time it took to the turn was really really long
I'm sad but not surprised my submission didn't get mentioned, I worked out the combo and then completely spaced on making and submitting a video til late on the final Saturday so it was a terrible video. Just wish to get some kinda feedback, was the video too poorly done? was the submission passed the cut off? both? Did I miss a rule and get DQed? Still this contest was cool, and I had fun working out my combo and then seeing these insane combos in completely different directions. I didn't even think about running options to gain extra memory. If you do more of these I'll definitely try to participate again. for anyone curious I used the following cards to swing on my oponent's board of 50 digimon gaining 16K DP per swing // Digimon DeckList 1 Tanemon BT1-007 1 MetalTyrannomon BT2-046 1 BanchoStingmon BT3-058 1 Kimeramon BT8-084 2 Palmon ST4-04 2 Togemon ST4-06

If it involves dimension scissors or any kinds of infinite loops, it was banned. Keep in mind there were some guard rails
Was the waruseadramon infinite forbidden? Otherwise i am pretty sure you can go infinite DP as well. Sad i missed that, even though i subscribed
Also, just give opponent more aces and ace cards in hand, so he would ace and gift you more memory if needed outside of infinite

Wouldn't it be possible to get to arbitrarily high DP by using ST7 Agumon and BT15 WaruSeadramon along with Dimension Scissor?
