hey im interested in buying one of these, but I wanted to be able to get noaa imaging, the advertised frequencies on the walkie talkie's page are these: BAOFENG BF UV-5R 8-Watt Dual Band Two-Way rádio (144 MHz-146 MHz VHF e 430 MHz-440 MHz UHF)", I'm pretty sure its not possible to get noaa images in those frequencies, did u have to buy a special antenna?

You should get an sdr. Your images will be much clearer with one.

@@irontoe9001Chip is spot on. A better radio and eliminating the .wav recorder will produce far better images.
you should really go for it, they can also open up the wacky world of HF which is pretty awesome

I have a Baofeng UV-5R and I've been able to recieve NOAA images with the stock antenna.
