The jar opener is really clever, a normal person wouldn't really use it to open their jars, but for old people or people who have trouble opnening jars, this can be really helpful for them

Lmao, the spice writer, those hearts aren’t made of spice, it’s the way you pour the milk into the coffee crema. Also, the pictures, if you want clean lines, use stencils, just shake the chocolate powder or cinnamon over then lift the stencil away. Really good baristas use a sharp point dipped into black coffee then draw in the froth, amazing to watch them do it.
That’s what I was thinking - I don’t know much about how baristas do the pictures and decorations on coffees, but I did know the photos were going to be misleading

I really love the gadgets you show. Most people probably think they are gimmicky but that comment you made about people with dexterity issues is real. Maybe do a video about kitchen gadgets for people with dexterity issues like arthritis.
For the first gadget, I didn't have to buy it...I married it. My husband does all the hard unscrewing of lids for me.

The lid part with the gasket is a one use only for exactly what you mentioned. The gasket is ruined once they are used.

All the jar opener has to do is break the vacuum under the lid of new jars and there are other ways to do that. Very helpful for folks with arthritis etc though

So I have an older version of one of these Jar openers- where instead of one button it has two switches for open and close, and sometimes it just slides around on a jar instead of gripping tight, but if I hold the jar down myself it locks on. If anyone's ever had the problem, that's the solution.
Very cool, since those who have a hard time opening could also have a hard time closing.

The jar opener in the beginning is kinda slow, like it's running on an Arduino board or something.

the opener at 9:51 works! I have a similar thing but with a larger handle so it is easier to use and find. Threw out the gadget 1. And the opener has no batteries to go flat.

When I used to can the standard way and a seal was formed, there was no way I could just pop the lid off with my fingers! I needed a bottle opener. I wouldn't trust this jar sealer for standard canning which is not refrigerated.

The spice pen having the spice compartment and the battery compartment use the same lid and not having anything keeping the spices from spilling into the battery compartment is worrying to me

@@ShintogaDeathAngel true, but even something poorly designed can work decently, the spice pen looks like it wouldn’t even survive being shaken a tiny bit before the spice powder fills the battery compartment and kills the motor
