I really like the idea of retractable wheels for my PA12 BUT when you said you shouldn't roll with a fully loaded kayak because it could crack the hull that seems to defeat the purpose.
Well, all kayaks are going to say that. It's meant to transport the kayak itself. There are too many variables to consider with gear. If it needs to be loaded down, I would use the cart
Nice install video Andy! Im interested in other kayak cart options. Can you do a recommend vid on carts you like? I bought the perception outlaw from you guys about a month ago and im looking to buy a good cart that works with it.
Hello, thanks for your video, I am searching for one info about the back-up plates, I need to know how wide are those plates? Thank you if you know or anyone else...
i just put a boonedox on my shoalie! it makes it possible for me to move it by my self but I do wish they would of put the mounting area closer to the chair or center point, cus its still pretty heavy!
I might be missing something, but I like the idea of something that stays attached that I can flip up when I'm in the water vs having something else to assemble/disassemble. Is this not possible with a passport?
Thank you Sir, we did not catch the size of the drill bit you used, but you are a blessing to those following you 👊😎
My bad. 3/8 on the drill bit.

I did one on the Wildy Cart. It's pricey at $250 but it's adjustable and extremely durable

I'll find out for you
They are 1" wide
Great video, as always. Are the paddle clips still usable?
They can be. On mine they are not. I ran them crossways. You can position the kit to where it does not affect the paddle clip.
Great question

It's also the best place to do it. Less weight at the front handle the closer you are to the middle of the kayak
@@thebeardedpaddler exactly! better pivot point! where it is right now im still having to lift most of the weight
Will this fit hobie mirage passport 10.5? Sorry if you mentioned somewhere
@@bwd1465 landing gear on a passport? You are better off using a cart
