Headlight Switch Rheostat Repair

On most older cars the Interior dash lights run off a Rheostat, which allows the lights to be dimmed and brightened. When they don't work most of the time the Rheostat is broken. This video addresses this issue somewhat

Got this problem on my instrument lights dimmer on my aircraft. Good fix and finally a straight answer, I got nothing from terminal to terminal but the wire works fine for me, thanks
