I am trying to add led puddle lights that turn on when the car door opens. When I splice into the black and green wire in your diagram, the led light turn on when the dome light is off and they are off when the dome light is on. I put the positive wire from the led to the green wire (in diagram) and the ground wire from led to the black wire (in diagram). How do i get the lights to tilurn off and on simultaneously? Thanks so much for your help.
I have a 54 Chrysler New Yorker. Lights come on when any door opens. The issue is figuring out how to bypass to control my lights when the doors are closed. Looking for some help from anyone. Ty

you can also swap the negative and use the positive towards the switch also right?

if u want to use like dome light u can control a either want to on always or use door switch just custom the switch button using this diagram...
