Make a triangle shelf using woodworking (and magic!)

  • Today we’re building a triangle shelf. If you've got some crystals and whatnot and they're just not giving off the healing power that they should be, you might need one. Probably best if it’s shaped like a triangle. Trust me.
    With a project like this you really want to use recycled materials. They add so much history and soul to the piece. So what's cool about the wood I'm using here is that it's actually a recycled tree! You can't get more history and soul than that!

      Just pile some shapes on top of each other, close your eyes and look peaceful and I think you’ve got it!

    I like how you used a recycled tree! Imagine the stories those boards could tell, if only they could speak!

      Thanks, man! Those miters were tricky. Probably the most “woodworking” I’ve ever done. Hahaha

    Does the Maker Monster have a man bun? In that case, I'll have to revise my opinion... about man buns. They are now acceptable. Great project, and I like the touch of magic and birthday candles.

  • @bLyn1000

    Can you pretty please break down the measurements? Specifically for the inner triangle pieces. I can't tell if it's suppose to be 7.75" or...

    • @TheMakerMonster
      @TheMakerMonster  5 років тому +1

      I actually ended up not going by measurements. I figured out the angles, cut one side, and then trimmed up the other side until it fit. I made marks on the miter fence to make the other pieces match. Sorry if that’s not super helpful! I did it by measurements only the first time and nothing lined up at all. Hahaha

      The Maker Monster haha I genuinely slowed it down to try and see if you'd made that cover 😂 I don't know if it's like Haynes manuals, and there's pretty much a Dummies book for anything you can imagine.

      I did! The other option was "Hipster Bullshit for Dummies" but I figured that was a bit harsh. Hahaha
