Husband deserves most of the props. Imagine enduring everything since the planning up until the show.. imagine the nights he kept on thinking abt the whole thing. 😄
Who thought of this prank, originally? Absolutely brilliant! Michael and company performed this perfectly!! The lady and her husband were so nice, and honest about the food. I hope they do this segment again in the near future!
He did it to his mother when she went on a cruise. He took it further and took her tops from her closet and got two women (actors) to wear them. He took a large picture from her bedroom and hung it in the dinning room. He also took a ornament of her dog and put it on a birthday cake. All the dinners were actors.
I do the same thing. I can't stand peas but I will put them in a meal so the kids will eat them. I will also eat them in front of the kids even though I cant stand them at all. The peas go into the garbage when the kids are not around though.
Apart from Jimmy car, the only thing jimmy doesn’t have that Michael does is the way Michael presents himself (camp, dramatic, heavy breathing, dramatic effects)
Yes he is funny but to say one of the funniest is like saying ABBA is the music... just because it’s easy and accessible... 😤😤😤😤 fuck fuck fuck fuck fuckfuck fuck 🤣🤣🤣
@Shim Barax you're clearly a teenager with that come back. Maybe your mom behaves like that but I can assure you that most women aren't like her. Also, a petal can't be deflowered it has to be the whole head. Like yours? Try harder with your comparisons. You're very easily triggered aren't you? 🤣
The husband had to keep this prank to himself every day until the show...Wow. That must have been difficult not laughing for no reason whenever he thinks of what's to come.
It's got to have been at least a few times he got caught chuckling and when asked probably just said "Oh it's just something that comedian Michael McIntyre said" 😂
This prank was so original and amazing. Kudos to her husband for being a good sport and keeping it a secret and to Michel Roux Jr for allowing it to happen in his restaurant.
This is a nice prank. Without harm and if anything goes to show the competency of the person who made the food in the first place! She recognised the similarity with her own food and that shows consistency with knowing what good taste is. The chef of this restaurant looks like a lot of fun and I'm sure she'll get not only a fantastic meal but wonderful service too. He showed his genius by combining the cake with chutney!
Brilliant how he even came to the idea of serving ppls own food in a restaurant. Genius, harmless prank. And the way he does it and how he acts is hilarious

I just love Michael McIntyre - really, just really the best! There are no comedians like him here in the US. Can anyone imagine any US late night host, let alone any standup comedian for instance, doing ANYTHING like this? Never. Michael is sweet, charming, in love with life and yet he is sharp, humongously witty and fast on his feet, with impeccable timing. He’s a natural and a genius at being natural - a comedian’s comedian. He ranks up there with the greats. I haven’t liked any other so much, since Jack Benny. Maybe Johnny Carson’s same charming quick wit. But Michael is in a class of his own. He’s utterly universal in his appeal - he’s infectious! Thanks Michael for never failing to make me feel a lot better about a lot of things, every time I watch you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏💖
Even after reading the comments I still wasn't prepared for the hilarity that ensued! 🤣 Brilliant! Lovely couple, nice to see a prank that doesn't hurt the "victim's" feelings. Best kind of trick imho! ❤
Yes. I totally agree. It's so refreshing to watch a prank that doesn't rely on humiliation or shaming someone for its humour. A few years back l turned down a side street near my house and slowed down for a couple of young boys who appeared intent on pulling a string across the road to each other. It wasn't until l had almost stopped the car that l realised there was no string and they were just doing the movements with their hands. They were perfectly in sync and looked really convincing. I thought it was a great prank and l had a chuckle to myself every time l drove down that street for years afterwards.
Having dined at this restaurant (a birthday treat some years ago) it really is an experience. The food was quite simply amazing, as was the service and the ambience. I am quite sure I didn't receive fish pie or 'sauce from the freezer' but the real stars of this show were David & Margaret. Amazing prank and such a lovely couple. Well done Michael :)
Beautiful. I think that’s all that’s needed. It’s all fun, light hearted playing around. Michele Roux has always seemed really nice. I imagine in the kitchen he’s the “just do your job” kinda man. As long as the work gets done, enjoy yourselves
She looked so hurt and betrayed and actually scared when her house was shown and in many other occasion during the prank as well.
