      We just went in and when we complimented him he got all of this team out so we could thank them too! Extremely genuine and talented guy. So incredibly humble, too.

    I am just super impressed by the Executive chef. His managerial skills including effective communication, kindness and attitude towards his staff is unremarkable and shows why this is the only indian restaurant with Michelle Star ⭐. I would love to go there one day.

    Vijay Kumar has really done a great job to present the simple earthy everyday food of Tamil Nadu in a very sophisticated and elegant manner that it has taken fancy of the New York crowd!

      @@Xotic-uf1ks If you look closely it seems like they've edited it out of sequence or did a cut. When he does the "second" dip the spoon is clean so he probably either switched spoon and it wasn't shown or he checked the consistency first and then had a taste.

    Prices are high - but its understandable as this is Michelin Star restaurant that caters to well-to-do and wealthy patrons
    Regulars eat food near 28st /Lexington Avenue in Manhattan or Jackson Heights /Queens

      @@Xotic-uf1ks I dont know what to tell you but it has a lot of cuts. I didn't look too much into it the first time, but people commenting made me take another look.
      The spoon is clean the 2nd time he shows consistency, when he ate the Raita, the he had yogurt on his face, while talking later his lips are clean, when he first walked towards there was no plate with small bowls and spoons, they add it later.
      You can believe what you want, but a chef at that level, habituate to using a spoon only once to taste and throwing it for wash.
