Wasn’t too sure about the base but hmmm not bad. I can build that base too to give options to my clients cuz it totally changed the look to me.

You are absolutely brilliant!!! I have viewed dozens & dozens of UA-cam and Pinterest DIY videos and yours is the ONLY one that thoroughly showcased how to construct a sturdy collapsible wall that I (as a female) can be inspired to replicate for staging furniture! Your project not only looks professionally constructed but is truly functional. Even after talking with the gentleman at HomeDepot, I didn’t feel quite sure his advice would hold up that much weight. Now I can show him your video on a full proof plan. You should be so proud of yourself. I thank you for carefully pointing out the areas that needed attentional reinforcements!

I know it's been 2 years since you built this backdrop wall but would you share any lessons learned are upgrades that would make this project even better? I'm a amateur DIYer and this project seems so much fun to build. Thanks again for sharing! Also, what size are the barrel bolts?
Hi Clarence! The barrel bolts are 5 inch and are linked in this post: sunshineandrainydays.com/diy-photo-backdrop-wall-on-wheels/ As far as lessons learned or upgrades, I'm not sure. My niece is pretty happy with the way it turned out! I do wonder if I should have left more space between the boards to allow for movement but I haven't heard she's had any problems with it and I know she used it for an event recently.
