For what it's worth, I didn't make any changes to the audio levels or any EQ or noise reduction.
I should also add that I don't have any room treatment and no carpet on the floor.
As I've listened to it a bit more I think it's a good mic choice to get started.

Seems to be a bit of room noise in usb mode. XLR sounds amazing.
Thanks for checking it out. I didn't do anything to either XLR or USB. The MOTU M2 is pretty quiet.
I don't have any room treatment, you can really hear the room reflection when it's pointing at the wall.
