Adventure Time is evolving man, it becoming just as big of a franchise like SpongeBob. Once all these projects release (hopefully not getting written off or scrapped) adventure time will have four spinoffs in total with a movie and yet you still have the original series with TEN seasons. It seems like Cartoon Network is treating adventure time now like Nick does SpongeBob more than Teen Titans Go now which is a huge W. As much as I like TTG, I think we need to give some other shows a spotlight.
I don't get it. CN/Adult Swim could make more spin-offs or sequels for Adventures Times, Regular Show, and Steven Universe. But, they can't make more Samurai Jack? That not fair.
Okay. This is just wayyyy too much. I don’t really have a problem with Adventure Time coming back...again but they already have Regular show returning and an Adventure Time spin-off series going on atm and we’re getting two more Adventure Time specials AND A MOVIE???? Not to mention we’re still getting the next season of Gumball. This is just retrending old ground and it just worries me if the future of CN is just three or four of their brands that they’re going to depend on
Creativity isn't exactly at peak in our society right now. It's kinda being choked out. So...people are trying to milk what they know their audience wants to see. I get it...but I kinda hate it. I don't want all the gaps filled in. I LIKE that they had their own implied lives and times we didn't see them. It's like what Disney is doing to the Star Wars universe. I mean, when we first see Boba Fett, there's NO explanation, and it gives the viewer this sense of a much larger universe...and that sense is what makes the original SW SO GOOD. Sometimes details kill the idea.
Anyone else cautiously optimistic but also somewhat afraid about the future and legacy of Adventure Time? I feel like they are REALLY milking the franchise. "The fun will never end" was right I guess.
I'm scared about what will gonna happened to AT. My OP: because of the bad finale for Simon and Betty's story in F&C's final episodes. And not just them, but Fionna and Cake's finale too.
What DL does with AT's legacy was GREAT (especially "Together Again"). F&C have wonderful 8 episodes, but after final two, i'm start to worry what will be for this franchise next.
@ParnanoidThalyyMVS no. Because Adventure Time world is expansive so there is much more to explore. The same creative team are involved. Adventure Time never dropped in quality.

Hey DC NETWORK the show Invincible Fight Girl was supposed to be on Cartoon Network but now it's going to be a show for Adult Swim and I am Excited for Adventure Time Side Quests
I'm most excited about the adventure time movie, if only the crew would tell us what would it be about, and as for the side quests i hope maybe the characters get a chance to shine and be on the spotlight but heyo bmo idk about that!
i hope finn and jake are in the movie because they cant make a adventure time movie without the heart of adventure time the two goats finn and jake they better be in the gosh darn movie
I'm still hoping for Craig of the Creek to return with a sequel movie, a limited series, and a revival series. Summer Camp Island, I hope a movie and a spinoff. Victor and Valentino, a season 4 revival and a movie. Infinity Train, a Book 5 revival and a movie. And I still hope for season 2 revivals on both Elliott from Earth and Jessica's Big Little World.
