Fun Fact, the player is literally the center of the universe. In an interview the lead dev said that to avoid floating point number inacuracy they made it so that instead of applying momentum to the player, for example when walking, falling or jumping, they instead apply all forces in reverse to all other objects in the solar system. Meaning you as the player never leave the center of the game world technically
So the player's coordinates are _always_ 0, 0, 0, while the planets change position... wow, that makes me appreciate Quantum Space Buddies (multiplayer mod) a whole lot more. Also explains why planets get buggy as you get really far, instead of you getting glitchy.
Kerbal space program applied the exact same tactic to defeat the original Deep Space Kraken bug in the 0.2-ish version of the game. I wouldnt be surprised if Mobius got the idea from KSP
It’s not just space exploration games that do this. It’s a very common trick in video games to have the player always stationary at the origin of the coordinate system.
@@pikariocraftf2802 The universe is to the Nomai what Super Mario 64 is to Pannenkoek. "Normally we wouldn't be able to shoot the probe more than once, but we can get around that using Warp Time Manipulation (WTM) to get an infinite number of chances."
Fascinating. Assuming the Ash Twin Project is physically inside of the Ash Twin (as opposed to being a separately instanced location), I wonder if you can use this to warp inside of it? Or anywhere else important?
Possibly, never have successfully done so. One big issue is that the sand is a solid volume, so more than likely the instance one “warps” inside of it you’ll immediately get crushed. Your velocity will also be slower than the Hourglass Twin’s orbit so you’d have to slow down pretty quickly without dying.
I'm trying to think about this in terms of the lore implications: (spoiler warning btw ofc) As spacetime is being destroyed, you're also warped back in time via the Ash Twin Project to a point before spacetime was destroyed. But . . . spacetime includes time, so wouldn't spacetime still be destroyed? Man this messes with my brain XD
I don't think you warp back in time after destroying space time (at least in the high energy lab) because it's an ending, the credits roll, you land in the main menu and you have to reload the save
The weird thing is that the game simultaneously uses multiverse theory and consistent timeline theory. When you do something in a loop and then your memories are sent back in time, whatever happened in that loop status in that loop. However, all the other warps just come out in the same timeline. If you throw your scout at one, the one that comes out of the other a second before your scout gets into the black hole is the same scout. Removing the black hole or white hole before your scout had entered the white hole should not destroy the universe: it should just not be an instantaneous thing. The white should exist for time enough for the scout to finish getting inside but take no other object inside.
Ask your doctor if MCS is right for you. MSC may cause temporary and spatial breakage, NOMAI (Neck Oscillation and Movement Activity Initiation), and hearth problems.
Beautiful video. Full of cool tech, and doesn't waste a moment. The end is a wonderful payoff. I've seen speedrunners use scout launching for momentum before but I still am baffled by just how much momentum it lends you. In my 50 hours of casual play I've never noticed this mechanic.
Sand still pours down and the level of sand never rises because Ash Twin never begins transferring sand to Ember Twin. It only does so once the time loop is started. There is one trick called “hell skip” that can get you through the falling sand but it’s incredibly unlikely to work. Sorry, should have clarified that in the video! I was quite tired and wanted to finish the video that weekend which is why it’s lacking at about the Ember Twin out of Bounds part :) lessons learned in making this
There's only one thing more powerful than the fabric of spacetime: unskippable cutscenes.
how to re-knit the fabric of spacetime with one weird trick!
physicists hate them!
fabric of spacetime: (breaks)
turkwinif: wow u ok? here have a *unskippable cutscene* . better?
fabric of spacetime: better.

KSP did a very similar thing when they started adding the Kerbol system
Well, the player's relative velocity is always 0 wrt the player, so it does make sense

That's absolutely insane! Due to UA-cam algorithm and to your skills, we were able to see this.
Thanks!
You explained this really clearly! Also, you have a great voice.
Going to ember twin shipless is the hardest part of this trick lol
What the fuck man. This is the greatest thing I've ever seen
The Owlk are quaking in fear
An absolutely rabble-rousing trick 👽
This is insane hahahah
I can't imagine how much fun the people who figured this out had
Did this really need an explanation video? I mean, it all seems pretty straightforward. ;;)
I appreciated it, I didn't know about ember twin out of bounds or how the statue triggers.

The ATP is inside Ash Twin! found this out when I somehow got the rotating ring to break out of it, with my scout attached

you can also get out of bounds using the red quantum rocks
