I locked- freeze all the places first lexis Nexis, etc anyway to make this short, since this that they reported is incorrect. Well, now I will be sending a letter to dispute and will surely update you all if it does or does not work since nothing else that is recommended here. I did write letters in the past and that did not work but will try again now since that was years ago, and I did not freeze anything. Will send an update.

I plan to call the CC company and argue how my two day late payment has injured them to the tune of $29 plus other fees and ask that I be provided with an itemized list of injuries and losses and how they are calculated. Has anyone actually done that?

I called them and they gave me a settlement offer to put the balance to $0, but they told me the missed payments would still show on the credit report and that they couldn't remove those. How can I get these late payments removed? Should I call again and say I will accept the settlement if they agree to change the missed payments to current?(Pretty sure the person I talked to said this wasn't possible, but may have more luck with someone else). (It is still with the original creditor, not in collections.)
Remove address first on all three credit bureaus report it to the CFPB dispute one credit bureaus at a time with each FCRA law explained for you. Ask for hard delete due to inaccuracies on your credit report. Good luck it will be removed. 🙏🏼

Hello, I am looking for guidance. I was made aware of a 60 days late payment on my CC Platinum card for balance of $9.48. Charge of $462 from April - paid off June 1..On June 18 I was charged interest of the charge for $2.48. July 14 min interest charge .50 July 20 min interest charge .50 August 15 Past due fee $4.00 August 20 min interest charge.50 . Grand total $9.48. I know. I shouldn’t have paid late but it was not intentional. I just got an alert from my bank yesterday and immediately paid and set to auto pay. This was reported by Cap1 to all 3 bureaus. What should I do? Anyone ever have similar situation? I had -68 point change in my credit score. Any advice would be appreciated.

Damn I have a closed account with 22 lates. Only thing on my credit. Its over a 5 year period from 2015 to 2020. Its all paid up. I sent the good will letter a while back and came back as verified. Is it any worth continuing the process. Just want an opinion Thanks
