I appreciate that these smaller tanks are fire compatible with the larger 1/16 scales, so they can IR battle with each other. Give the kids the small ones so they don't wreck my personal beast! The LED shot counter is convenient, too, to keep everyone honest.

The tank looks much improved from the earlier versions of the tanks. Although I would warn people that they are not built for harsh conditions and will and can break. Although it does depend on what you use it for. I haven't seen much in the way of spare parts or accessories for the 1/24 scale tanks either. So yea that's something to consider when purchasing these tanks.

I think this is the size that I've been looking for. Bbs and infrared both on it is very cool. The 1/16 is a bit big, I think, for a family play.

You guys really need to get the 1/16 tanks back in stock first. Most of them have been out of stock for over two years, which is ridiculous.

Nice that you're offering more...but when will the 1/16 scale ones be back in stock? Nearly all of them have been out of stock for ages, I've long given up on buying one because they're always unavailable.

is there independent suspension?
Just dug my Type 90 out of storage that I’ve had since I was in Korea in 2002. A couple of the guys had the other models and we would have tank battles in the Barracks. Lol. Just got to find the charger. Probably will sell it.

Why wouldn't the turret turn a full 360°? Is there a turret ring kit for any of those R/C tanks?
You will need a turret slip ring connector so you don't tangle the wires after passing 360°
Классные молели , дождался наконец того момента , когда хенг лонг переведет модели 1/24 на более качественную аппаратуру ... Но мне интересно, качество самих моделей нормальное ? Помню я купил себе type-90 от heng long и он у меня рассыпался ,когда я его достал из коробки , я был очень сильно разочарован 😥 надеюсь эти модели намного качественнее сделаны ,чем их предшественники ...
А так , могу сказазть , что классные модели в масштабе 1/24 от фирмы vsTank ... Воо у них реально отличные модели , но запчасти на них тяжело найти , но можно от танков Heng long поставить

Has 360 degree turret operational range ever been accomplished?
Yes. Some have ground off the tab that is molded into the geared turret ring and formed extra teeth in its place so the turret turns 360°. The caveat there is that you cannot keep rotating the turret continuously in one direction or the wires with twist until they break or jam the rotation motor. Count the number of turns you have done, then unwind the wires by turning the opposite direction.

Yes, most of these allow the sound to be muted using one of the small buttons on the left side of the controller

ON/OFF switch should be under a hatch instead of underneath also the battery compartment. I can see battery cover popping off and tank being turned off because of rolling over stuff that catches on the battery cover tab and ON/OFF switch.

@@he214abc, согласен с вами , у меня были модели от vstank : Leopard 2a6 , type-90 , t-72m1 ,... но они стоят дороже и на них оригинальные запчасти тяжело найти , если случится поломка ( можно от HL поставить )
