- If you've come looking for this video, then you've probably just been on AliExpress and spotted what looked like an amazing bargain.. but you're really not convinced that it could possibly be any good!
Don't expect this to be the best tank ever. It's not. However, don't expect it to be complete and utter rubbish because it's not that either.
If you just want to dip your toe into tank-infested waters, then this might suit your budget and draw you into more serious tanking.
If you want to buy a gift for a child or friend, again, this might be the right choice for you.

It's a decent tank. It doesn't have enough speed or grip but the design and suspension is what caught my eye.
For the money, it's hard to fault.
I got this T-10 Japanese and a ZTZ-99 Chinese RC tank by XQ RC years ago. They are to scale 1/24. I believe they may have been a run made from prototypes from "famous" VS Tank brands 1/24 line in Airsoft tanks. Inspired by first Airsoft Tokyo Marui T-90, very high quality RC 1:24 BB tanks.
My idea was to upgrade them to BB and 4Ghz. Heng Long still make a copy of the T-90 been about for years, plus Abrams and Leopard. The T-90 is to scale, whilst the HL Abrams/Leopard are based from the T-90 running gear. But they are great fun, the VS Tanks/Marui tanks were amazing quality and detail, so good they could be displayed and fight using a BB or IR system. Not sure who has the moulds or rights now, but VS Tanks had Tiger, King Tiger, Leopard 2, KV1 and KV2, T-72,T-90 T-10, Abrams and Sherman. They had metal part upgrades for tracks, driver wheels and etched grills. Plus accessories for tanks. You could buy replacement commanders all 1/24. Then they created 1/24 metal soldiers WW2 USA and German highly detailed stuff. Plus entire townscape, including buildings etc. They went all in but found not enough demand, the IP went to a couple places and were discontinued. Forces of Valor did their own range of IR fighting RC WW2 tanks of great quality too, think they sold those on to a German Company. Great for "indoor use" or limited terrain whilst 1/16 Tamiya and Heng Long are big enough to use in most terrain have compatible IR fighting systems and HL use BB firing units as well.

I just received mine today. They are a little slow, but very fun to run around the house. Might have to crack it open and see what can be done with it.
It'd be rather wary of putting more power through it. I can imagine a lot of parts quickly booking themselves into the great battlefield in the sky!
@rcpie yeah don't plan on upgrading the motors. Maybe adding smoke or airport gun barrel.
It doesn't have enough straddle and break over angles to surmount the doorstop.
It's never going to be the most capable. Not bad for a cheapo tank, though!
Planning on getting this once i can get enough money, its hella expensive in my country.. not to mention scammers.

Well, they are a bit of lottery when you are buying, one of them was marvellous, I run it over and over again and it was nice, the other came broken (money refunded), but it seems it is hard to fix them due to some differences with Heng Long ones... nevertheless I managed and now it is serving perfectly, not much of place inside for installing some other stuff such as smoke generators or so, but you may fix some funny things such as light in a main cannon or smoke mechanism as well in a cannon, since they are bit smaller than standard ones
If you used Heng Long parts for it, that's really cool to know.
I'm not sure I'm going to use mine as I prefer WW2 era tanks. I might give it to one of my children, though.
Have you tried it at 6v or a 2s lipo ?
No. I suspect the electronics would fry.

Got already four of them, each in different shape and quality, but two were really good, made them with extra parts of Heng Long Type-90 including a Commander and it looks fine

I didn't realise that they'd done smaller than 1/16.
Is it close to a 1/16 scale ?
No. Nowhere near. Maybe 1:20, probably 1:24
