my best second hand purchase happened just the other day, i found a copy of dark emu by bruce pascoe in a closing down second hand book shop where there was only like 8 boxes of books left and by magic one of my highest rated from last year was there! glad you survived bookfest and got a good haul, it's a very overwhelming environment

In August my partner and I found some really good gems at a used bookstore in Rijeka, Croatia - classic Marxist books that are rather expensive if bought new.
