I keep running into your video and I’m always amazed. Question… Have you ever tried to get in contact with Joe Travers to see if there’s any video of this performance? Frank did take an awful lot of video of his shows for future use. It would be ground breaking to find and release a video of that performance. Probably one of the most significant new releases of Frank if located.
FZ's edited solo on Sheik Yerb lacked an introit, and here you provide but what I find curious is how the tone changes when he hits the SY solo. The change is analog, levels in a recording studio setup: what to emphasize? Analog limits the choices. FZ diminished the bass, the lower tone end levels - what was he after? The solo is visceral, why dump the low end? It sounds more clear but less raunchy. He seems to be after bigger game.
Pure Genius guitar, tone, taste and feel.
Best solo ever and a treat to hear it in it's rightful place. Thank you
Frank's firing on all cylinders in this one!
Thanx
Very nice
Very nice.
Thank you!
Very cool. Well done!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great job with the edit. Tomago is a perfect fit. His tone is tremendous.
mind exploded! :o
Definetly the best version in every time
Well done. Brings back memories of seeing Frank in concert. 👍🏼
Sounds like Terry Bozzio on the drums - as always; Zappa is the king
This sound amazing.

Le meilleur de tout les temps point barre ( Guy platteau Marseille)
Great! Thanks.
Nice edit. The solo is his greatest ever. Bozzio does a great job too.
Dang. You did a great job!
Pour répondre à une question c'est bien bozzio à la batterie ( Guy platteau Marseille) reconnaissable entre mille
If I didn't know Adrian Belew was on this I could have told it was him at 19 seconds in :)

Rat tomago is effectively a guitar-drum duo as presented on SY. Possibly the greatest one in rock and roll.
N EVER/DUZ!
Was this a concert or a sound check?
I prefer to listen to good old vinyl live, isn't that cool?
Good, but Captain Beefheart singing this song is over the top.
Totalement d'accord pour la version avec le captain😊
Mais il faut bien reconnaître que ce solo de Zappa est vraiment exceptionnel, quel talent
