So I'm not the only person that has been dreaming of sugar & carbs post delivery lol... I asked my doctor specifically about that. I'm being induced Thursday so this gives me a little sigh of relief.
@@MamaJoandCo I gave birth on the 17th shortly after starting pitocin. I didn't use any pain meds and she was born completely en caul about 20 mins after active labor started eyes wide in the sack. I didn't think that really happened. She even kicked it open herself before my midwife could puncture the bag. It was amazing although I didn't realize how much I'd shake after labor by the next day I definitely enjoyed the best chocolate chip cookie and lemonade of my entire life.
@@samanthajohnson-dorsey5303 Wow sounds like your daughter was ready to get out of there haha! Congrats on your birth and I'm glad you got those sweets!
@@samanthajohnson-dorsey5303 hi, I’m also having diabetes, so they are gonna induced me next week, but told me they gonna insert fey balloon. But I can ask for a pitocin isn’t it?
Hi, I will have to be induced next week and I do have gestational diabetes but I’m nervous because my cervix is still really closed and afraid to go to c-cection. Was yours close before they induced you??
@@abinaya5632 I kept do exercise like squat to help the cervix be loose and I ate 5 pieces of medjol date daily specially last week before giving birth. When I went to the hospital I was feeling contractions but I was not in labor yet. Anyway they gave me a vaginal pill to help open the cervix because it was still closed at 3:00pm and it helped and it started to open, 13 hours later was open to 6 cm at 4:00 am then I got induced. It helped more. At 8:30 am I started delivering the baby I was 10 cm dilated . An hour later I was not pregnant anymore. Everything went smooth no difficulty. I hope this helps. I hope everything goes well with you and your baby 😊
You are too cute! I love your sense of humor 😭❤️
Thank you friend!!
