Lol...love the jello shot tubes. With my luck my husband would see me get them in the mail and immediately say "when we having the party". Never a dull moment with him.
my life of beading the first 3 months consisted of 3 shoe boxes, now just for my stringing and wire my satin cords for macrame,,is in a 12 drawer bin i bought specific for that,, from 3 shoe boxes to a whole room full of beads plus all the other craft supplies i added to my learn list,, i bought some storage drawers organizers, trying to get things orderly..tthanks for sharing
Kindred spirits...Love sorting beads, buttons, and untying knots. (...and drinking LOTS of coffee) You always have the best and most creative ways of doing things. I look forward to watching ALL your beading tutorials. Anything you make is always amazing. Hugs.
Thanks! That was fun! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who gets excited and out of breathe when taking about something I really enjoy! I too love to color organize everything! Look forward to more organizing ideas as I need at this time because my inventory had grown substantially!
Hi Lindsay, this was so fun to watch! I love your enthusiasm! I also like to store my beads in many different containers. It's fun, it provides variety, some things fit better in different boxes, etc. Thanks for sharing!
I know this is an older video, but oh my goodness!! I can relate to sorting and storing the way you do. It's funny that you sort by color, I always have. It's a soothing technique for me to sit down with a yard sale or thrift store find of beads, buttons etc and sort by color. I used to feel bad about using any and all containers that I could collect to store my things in, but seeing yours gives me peace of mind that all storage containers have purpose. I think you have the first video I've seen where everything isn't all "matchy matchy". It's perfectly ok to use what we have and can recycle. Loved this video!!
Loved your storage options! What a great video, the thing I love just as much or more than the storage is your personality, makes watching so much more fun! So bubbly and happy, I just adore you. Thanks for taking the time to share with us, I'm off to watch some more of your videos! ~Kimberley =)
Going through my regular search for inspiring bead videos on youtube I came across yours and I'm hooked! You are so much like me (down to the hair, lol) we could be sisters, and your enthusiasm is so contagious! I'm going to watch your other videos, then go into my craft room and organize or bead or something.
I am so happy that i have found your youtube channel i have watched it many times and a lot of the beading one. i enjoy them the most i have a lot of my own beads and been trying to organized my staff.
Holy Cow !! YOU'VE got me Inspired "AGAIN" LOL I go through my things and organize then I start working on my stuff ... OK well I work on several things at a time.. (A.D.D) and everything gets disorganized and there it stays cause I know where it is when I need it at time.. WELL its time to reorganize again !! Thank you Maybe this evening I'll work on my bench and tables and clean them all up !! Hugs tight with Love ❤
I love the way u store beads ,bets the tote storage. Keep all ur videos comen love love love all ur videos so keep the tips an storage an organization come :)
You asked yourself, why were you speaking so fast, but I love that! You get to the point and have tons of really useful information to go along with it. A slow, boring video is hard to get thru.
Yay! After searching the internet high and low for those Ultimate Stacker boxes, I finally called your sis and THANKFULLY she still had a few left! I got them all, ladybug! hahahaha. I think they are discontinuing those since they are all sold out online and none of my local stores carry them. At least I got 4! Thanks to Bry-Ann's Arts and Crafts Store!!! Have a sparkle-riffic day!
Sparkle by Monica I'm glad you got them (and I am glad I stocked up first because I bet they are discontinued!) They are my favorite bead box, why do they discontinue the good ones?
Love your high energy! I buy spice racks that spin at garage sales, I use larger size beads for my craft and store by color and find the spinning racks let me see all the colors with a couple of turns.
Hi Lindsay, I absolutely adore you and your channel. I completely understand about the sorting, I buy the Boss' Bead Bags from Fire Mountain Gems all the time and I love sorting everything out plus sometimes you get things in there that you haven't seen or tried to use before. It gives me a sense of peace amongst all the chaos. You are truly awesome keep up the good work
thanks for sharing your ideas. I have a similar set up with the metal sorters. table boxes. then an assortment of various other boxes but to make it all the same some day. 😀
I do not have a craft room as yet but when I do I will use your ideas, but until then I have to keep everything portable so I use a fishing tackle box with the plastic containers for the beads and they have storage compartments for the tools and everything else that I need.
wow I bet by now you need another room for your artsy stash ... I get overwhelmed by too much stuff sometimes I feel paralyzed as to where to begin, and I spend time "organizing". You are delightful and so helpful. I love all your videos.
You are fabulous, I love listening, watching, and learning from you. Do you have any jewelry videos? Besides cards and papercrafts, I also have tons of beads. Would love to see beading videos.
The test tubes are fantastic! I like things sorted by color and type. When I used to dry all my laundry outside on the clothes line, I hung them by type and color and size. LOL ~ sounds rather weird as I tell this, but it did look nice. :) Thanks for sharing all these great ideas.
Lindsay, just love your style and enthusiasm! I also love to store my beads by color and findings separate by gold, silver, copper, gunmetal etc. I honestly don't know which I love more- beading or organizing, lol. Thanks for the tip of a cover for those things you design necklaces on. Forget what they're called, but you know what I mean. I love the box from Harbor Freight. I use plastic drawers for tools now, and the heavy things make the drawers fall off the tracks. Keep bringing those fun videos! Liz
love watching your vid's you crack me up...so much knowledge...great personality........such an entertainer..... only good things to say to you and about you....when ever i am out and about...if i find myself in a craft shop....when talking to other crafters i bring your name up...i try and send people to your site....i recomend you to everyne
Hi there. Do you ever get this paranoid feeling of spilling a big storage tray of beads or findings? Thank you so much for telling us where you got the storage items. I love working with jewelry and making rosaries. You have inspired me to get my gear in order. Take care and God bless.
Thanks, Love the test tubes, I find the same thing with chain stores and their seed beads they are very inconsistent in size and holes, most of my beads are in those flat tackle boxes with the movable sections, but you did give me a couple ideas...I sort by color as well!
Breathe lindsey you were talking so fast i was getting out of breath. We want to hear you and choose to spend this time with you. Dont rush your not inconveniencing us .we love you
Lindsey, you are absolutely gorgeous, fun & interesting to watch, full of life and spunk, the Love & Spirit flows from you with much happiness, thank you for giving and sharing so much of your beautiful self & your wonderful crafting ideas 🌟☪🌙🌠
Love those boxes thanks for the great ideas. The shooter idea I Making jewelrys my thing i love test I have some in mini m&m containers but the lids weaken the shooter test tubs I am gonna get thank you. The beads that aren't drilled right bother me all the time.
Hi, I loved your video. My question is that I just started out and don't have a lot of storage space. What are the most important findings to have on hand? I'm trying to work with silver plated and keep to just silver. I have an Etsy shop but it's now 2 months and no sales. Kind of disappointing. The problem is I just love creating!
it depends on what you make, headpins, earwires, toggle clasps and jump rings are my most used findings. My friend Renea Christine has a youtube channel called Rich Mom Business and she has a lot of good training for etsy sellers for free on her channel, check it out, it will help:)
I don't hardly ever have a chance to go to a craft store or have a card to be able to shop online so I use whatever cheep storage contaners I can afford like those plastic ones with the seal lock on them that are normally for food, I also use others that again arnt ment for storing beads but still work ok for it though I would one day love to be able to afford the proper kind of storage for my bead crafting lol also loved the video and your bubbly personality it makes me feel happy ^-^
My pliers are my area of concern. You are such a crafting inspiration! Ty for sharing so much crafting know-how! Your energy is very motivating! Maybe you already have a tutorial on this , but could you possibly share one : “A day In the Life of Lindsey “. Thanks
Hi Lindsay, love watching your videos! I have learned so much especially watercolors. Question what can you use left over mat board pieces for? How do you store them? Thanks! Happy new year!
Hi Lindsey, i was wondering how you store your 'single' beads? I have a ton of beads, but sometimes i only have one or two of 1 kind of bead. I don't want to throw them all into 1 box. I like to be able to see all of those single beads aswell. Do you have any suggestions? And my second question is about fabrics: how do you store your fabrics? I personally like to prevent my fabrics from getting creases. Love your vids and enthousiasm!!
I like to sort stuff, buy stuff, use stuff to create, & makes me happy, & others too. To create, I need to play with stuff, see it, arrange it, & become inspired. I buy bargains, because I know I will use them, or the duds go to my grandchildren, without a cringe. An artist has to have a selection of raw materials to work with & create from. Others need only the material in a kit, & follow ABC, 1,2,3, happy their item looks identical to the box photo. Thank you for sharing so much with us. You have a business, I have no excuse for the money I spend on crafting supplies, good thing I do not need an excuse or permission, or I too would be judged. LOL
Hi I'm selling jewellery to make money at the moment and when I saw your video I was so happy, cause then I found your channel. Your channel is pretty much what I've been looking for, thank you. Btw I love that your wacky and funny.
Thanks for all the great ideas! I started out 'organized' but quickly outgrew my storage - I like the stacking clear stuff that screw together - but I can't find the red cube stacking storage - guess they're discontinued. Have you tried Happy Mango Beads? They sell really unique beads from around the world and try hard to support bead makers in poor areas of the world.
Hi, i was wondering how you store your paint brushes and paint, do you do plein air paintings? if you do, how do you store your outdoor painting kit? Thanks :-)
awesome ideas for storage, thanks so much for sharing. BTW- the thing on your table is a vice, not an anvil. But it is fine if you are using it to flatten wire, which does not require significant force.. :)
Lol...love the jello shot tubes. With my luck my husband would see me get them in the mail and immediately say "when we having the party". Never a dull moment with him.

I think I've found someone with more beads than I have! Maybe! Organizing is really the key to enjoying beading.
I love to sort beads my color. Something about it is relaxing. Hope jury duty is going OK.
Same for me love sorting beads and things by color then size and type. Hate cleaning though ;). I find the sorting relaxing as well.

awesome ideas for storage, thanks so much for sharing. BTW- the thing on your table is a vice, not an anvil. But it is fine if you are using it to flatten wire, which does not require significant force.. :)
