I just went out and bought 4 packs of these containers. I am going to store my findings and I strass as a part-time occupation so I put my rhinestones in them also. They are perfect. I bought a deep container to store them in, so they are portable. They can go where ever I need to work. Thanks for the idea. I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the great work!!!!!
I have bought these exact containers from my local Dollar Store. I used them with my acrylic paint pouring. These are the absolute best for all sorts of things. I buy by the bushel as well.
I have been subscribed and watching you for a little while now and have grown to enjoy your channel and You! I can honestly say, after watching some of your older videos and getting to know you better has greatly increased my interest in your channel and my enjoying and excitement for your new posted content! I'm so glad I found your channel and You! It's nice to get to know you! 💙
I watched your video and wow. I went to JoAnn's and got a 6 drawer cart, have raided every Dollar Tree in town and now I have the second cart and am waiting for Dollar Tree to restock their little boxes. I almost ordered a case for store pickup when I realized that their cases also include the little round ones which are of no use to me. These are sitting on top of my craft table. I did go one step further and put labels on my boxes because not all of them have enough beads for me to clearly see from the top, so labels helped a lot. Thanks for the video, you have saved my craft room slash homeschool classroom
Wow your dollar stores give great value. I live in the uk and we have pound shops. I get these square containers from my local pound shop and you only get six or maybe eight. Your dollar stores are really amazing! By the way, I love your videos and I am inspired to do some storage tidying right now. Much love from the uk ❤️👍🏻🇬🇧💍
Thank you so very much, Aleisha! This idea is fantastic. Since I am new to jewelry making, I wanted to find one compact place to store my tools, beads, findings, etc. I knew there was a solution out there somewhere that I could afford. Thank you for doing all the work for me. Dollar store here I come!
I enjoyed your storage ideas very much. I use beads in sewing, crafts and have done some beading. I had everything in these towers that spin and hold round plastic containers. My Dollar Tree had none of the boxes but the store in the next town had plenty. I do know you can order items online however you must order a case. I am in the process of transferring everything over to the rectangular Dollar Tree boxes. Pretty much all five of my towers will fit into two drawers! .I am a seamstress but hope to try some of your beaded barrettes. I thought your instruction was clear and easy to understand!
This is fabulous! I actually have these type of storage containers in my craft room. I'm always trying to make my craft room neater, because I have so much stuff. I have some of these containers for my kitchen, but I know that I will be buying more of them to see if I can conserve more space with my beads. thank you so much for the great idea...
I have been looking for these little containers since you posted this video. Dollar Tree finally had them today. Thirteen packages and I took all of them. I found out you can order them too but only by the case. I love these little things. Thank you for sharing. Time to get better organized.
I love watching your videos Aleisha! Please never stop! Thank you for the storage ideas...YOU are awesome!I am just getting into beading.I was quilling for a short time but decided to try beading after watching some of your videos.THANK YOU for being you and have a great life!!!!

Alicia, if you were here I would give you a hug. I have those containers! you showed them in different containers that is a much better system. thank you. great video!
Thank you soooo much! Your a life saver❤️ Your so super talented and very special to share not just your talent but your ideas. Thank you for being such a giving person Sweetie. I am learning so much from you, the way you teach in your tutorials is amazing 🙏🏻 God bless you Honey and again Thank you! Such an inspiration 💕
Wow! I was just now looking into the storage of my beads. I didn’t know what to do. I just decided to move into a trailer so I obviously don’t have any extra space. What a fabulous idea! Thank you!!
Thanks for a great tutorial on storage - it plagues all of us crafters! I have been using these containers but you showed me so much more about how to make them more functional. Thanks again
My husband just got me the 10 drawer rolling cart for Christmas and I was looking for a way to use a container or containers inside the drawers for my beads. I hope I can find these same little containers at my dollar store. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful!
hi, I had a hunt for the containers but I found them at the dollar store. Love them. Great suggestion. I am in the process of organizing my beads and findings. I also found that I can use the Tool Bench Hardware storage case to store findings. They are great for storing bead caps, charms, clasps etc. plus they stack very well.
just wow! I have been using jillions of little bags in tackle boxes and have to open every one when I am looking for something. I spend more time looking than beading. thanks
Thanks very much for this tutorial, it’s very helpful. I love the idea of recycling container, perfume box and the iris storage drawer but my favourite is the later - iris storage drawer. 👍🏽 all the way from UK 🇬🇧.
I know this video is old but thank you for showing the last setup. Thankfully Amazon carries the iris drawers and similar 2oz square containers. Now I can get to organizing my beads.
I just saw this video and I was thinking they probably wouldn’t have those at the dollar tree anymore but they do! Now they are 12 packs I bought all three that they had. Thank you so much this is so helpful!
Thank you Aleshia you have great bead storage ideas. I am always looking for new ideas when it comes to bead storage and your video has been very helpful.
Thank you so much for your organization tips. I am definitely going to Dollar Tree for the containers. I'm just hoping that they have them. You are awesome. I always look forward to all of your videos.
As I am searching ways to organize my beads. I realy realy like your method. Very very affordable and I have a small space in my attic to work with. This would fit perfect on my table. I don't think I have to keep looking for a solution. Nailed it. Thank you.
Tfs!!! 👏I've been using these for years! No kidding they are awesome for so many things in your craft room like sequins, embossing powders, glitters, mixing your own texture pastes and my fave is to use them for holding tiny die cuts and cuts from tiny flower punches. I also use them for storing small pre-made sentiments for greeting cards. See.....I could go on and on for what I store in mine!😄🙋👍
Awesome video. I have been hoarding the little boxes from both $ Tree and $ General for a couple of years now. They seem to only have them in the summer. The cart is GENIUS. Thank you from a new subscriber.
You've got some amazing suggestions! I am a crafter, so I have beads, charms, sequins, glitter, and embossing powder that could fit in them! What a great CHEAP storage! The flat tackle boxes with open sections that I am currently using are AWFUL. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for sharing. Great job as always!! So far, the last system seems to work the best for me also, and the most affordable (1-time purchase for long term organization). I did purchase the 10-drawer cart; a ton of storage for all those beads which I am excited about. I went to several dollar stores over several months and purchased the small containers when they were in stock. Looks so much better -- makes me feel happy to be so organized and reduces the clutter. Also, makes me actually want to bead.
I've been scouring my dollar stores for these containers since you uploaded this video and the stores near me just got them in stock!! Thank you for this amazing idea! I just ordered my Iris 10 drawer and can't wait to get my beads organized so I can see them! I also need to go buy a lot more containers so I can fill up drawers.
Aleshia, I love you!!! I rushed right out to my Dollar Tree, and bought every package of the little SureFresh boxes they had, only 13 but the truck comes every Saturday! Then, at Jo-Ann, the storage IS on 40% off. But for my purposes I found something that works even better than the cart for now, (but I'm going to save up!) What I found is also made by Iris, and it's a flat Scrapbook Case that is 14-5/16 x 14-1/8 x 3-1/8. The regular price was only $9.99, and it holds 54 of the little boxes on end (or with two of the rows on their sides to take up the little lee-way in the spacing.) I like that they're not such a tight fit that it makes it difficult to remove a box. I can't wait to sort!!! Thanks so much!!! Sherrill
I had been excited when I first found the Darice bead storage tray units (those plastic trays with little snap-top containers in 4 different sizes). When I first got the trays, I could only afford enough for about half of my bead collection at the time, and then when I went to buy more, I couldn't find them anywhere for a reasonable price. So I had some beads in the tray units, some in little plastic screw-top jars from Michaels, some in those large divided tackle box type containers, some still on the shank/string because I didn't have an empty container to put them in, and so forth, all shoved into some IKEA drawer units. Now I'm putting together an Ultimate Dreambox (by the Original ScrapBox co) and the tray units and tackle boxes will not fit into the acrylic bins or even fit nicely on the shelves of the Dreambox. So I was going to buy a ton more of the small plastic jars. Except that for many of my beads in the tackle boxes, which tend to be on the large size, you can't fit very many into one of the plastic jars and you end up needing a ton more jars to hold the same amount of stuff. I started looking around at bead storage options and it made me despondent that I'd have to spend yet more money just to be less space-efficient. So I got on UA-cam and found your video. Guess what I have a ton of from another project? Those dollar tree plastic containers! I went into my craft area, grabbed a bunch of them, and put them in one of the Dreambox acrylic trays. They fit perfectly. Plus, they hold my pearls and stone beads in less space than the current tackle boxes, and are great for holding different types of findings which I like to keep sorted in tiny ziptop bags. Thank you for posting this idea, I literally never would have thought to use those plastic containers because I bought them for something other than beading. I sometimes forget to think about how the things I already have could be re-purposed.
Oh Aleshia...where were you when I was reorganizing my craft room!!! These are awesome. They look like they'd be perfect for my small room. Thanks so much!
I've had to work in a very small space for years. I've just used those tackle type boxes and stack them. Such a pain to find what I'm looking for. I like your system a lot. I'll look for those $ store containers! Thanks for sharing.
I also found these containers, but I bought some round ones. I just been stacking them on a shelf and I love them! I pick up more whenever I see them. Happy header:)
Great idea. I'm just starting out but I found a great storage box that has the 24 small boxes nested inside a big storage box at harbor freight, each compartment holds 40g of seed beads. I love it because if I want to take a box full of beads with me all I have to do is fill it up and toss it in my bag and go. I also wanted to share with you that you can buy the sure fresh containers by the case off the dollar store website. You get 36 packages with 10 in each for $36 plus tax and you can get free in store pick up.
Great storage ideas. I'm a mixed media beginner and am so interested in several crafts. My paper beads could use this system. I already have a cart that matches your size recommendations. Thank you!
Love your storage idea. I have a small space so I'm gonna use the dollar containers and under the bed storage boxes to put them in. Which is better to sort by type of bead, color of bead, or size of bead?
Any time I will be on a trip that will include long times I will not be driving I take 'busy work'. I stack the same square containers you featured in empty aluminum foil and wax paper containers and wrap 2 rubber bands around the box. No risk of accidental openings yet I have plenty of choices with me. I agree those 10 for $1.00 square containers are indeed handy.
Love that idea. what size beads are common to get? I started making jewelry but I don't want get a lot of beads. so far I have 10/0 & 6mm. what other size would u recommend. thank u
I just love your idea for storage. I have to bead in the front room, I have very little storage I love it because you can cover them in the Iris cart I am going to go check it out. Thanks for the great ideas.
lol Ive been using them for almost 2yrs myself, I use them mostly for my pearls. I am glad to see that someone else uses these :) sadly I can't leave my beads out where anyone can get to them, we have ppl that work at our complex who find their ways in peoples apartments and steals what ever they thing you won't miss. so I have to lock mine up in computer desk drawers :(.. Thank you for sharing your storage ideas and yes i agree the square containers are better than the round ones ..
Aleshia,I love this storage idea!Compact,convenient,inexpensive....I store mine in a dollartree shoebox! The only two things that bother me are #1 they are not crystal clear so it does mute the colours a little bit,you can't see the shine if a bead has the as finish! The second thing is-have you ever accidently dropped one of those sealed containers full of beads? They burst open!Otherwise they are great!
Your unusual color of superduos.....reminds me of the nasty flavor jelly belly jellybeans. I use the containers from Harbor Freight. I recently decided to go with just one brand of seed beads. I have three H F boxes full of Blue Moon seed beads that I want to pass on to my granddaughter who wants to learn. I will DEFF be grabbing these containers from the dollar store! Thanks for sharing!!
Hi Aleshia. Love the containers and shelves.I also love the jewellery you make l find l can follow your instructions easily. What I would like is to see you as I don't know what you look like. Eve
i envy your wonderful organizational skills. i have those very containers and a few small boxes I got at dollar store too. i started using the document boxes to sell too. but I need more of them as I have finished Beadwork. love your ideas! and your nails! :)
I use these too but I also use beadsmith flip top boxes and line wood utensil trays with my 11/0 Tohos only. I stack them and bring the trays to living room when I create. Great idea!
WOW .... girl I have just now watched this video - was looking for good storage ideas, but I have been subbed to you for some time now!! Thanks for the great info...much love!!
I use those plastic containers I also got some small round containers in which i place small amounts of small crystal beads. A person i know, was about to throw away her rotating spice rack, which was given to her as a gift, but never used. I asked her if i could keep it and she was ok with it. When i took it home, i threw away the spices, washed the glass containers and let them air dry. Now, i use that spice rack as a bead holder 😁
Alexis this last idea that you had is AWESOME I'm just a beginner u know messing around here & there but I have 2 small carts on wheels and 3 of those self closing boxes w/a flap and I am going to get some square containers bcuz when I went to Dollartree I saw some real ones not square ones but I bought a couple of bags of the round ones and they actually Dont stack to well in the drawer cuz when I shut the drawer everything falls over. thanks for the idea and the next time I go to the Dollar Tree I'm going to look for some square ones I could probably consolidate all my beads in the three boxes sitting on top but anyway have a great day God bless and thanks for the wonderful ideas. 😁😁
awesome, I too only have a bench in my basement for my craft supplies. I do have some of the more expensive "storage solutions" brand trays but this is a more cost efficient option and I will look into doing this in the future. Thank you Aleshia!
wow - thank you so much!!!! I have invested in so many starter boxes, etc for storage and not been happy with any of them. This is great - easy to see and use. I was already subscribed but would do so again any time.
Hi ty for sharing .love these ideas. so i have a question since i have been beading for long time so here is my question do u any beading that u use the bead mat for the back of embroidery for beading what type of glue would u use ?
This was extraordinarily helpful! I have beads all over the place and you've come up with a great system. I have to go now and follow your link to the iris drawer cart!
Dang, I really wish my brain worked like yours, Aleshia.....lol. I'm definitely a clutter/scatter girl myself...lol...always looking for something and never finding it, and then going out to buy it again...oy. This video has motivated me to get a lil more squared away...lol. Love your videos!
I love these! Started collecting these and I am waiting on the 6 drawer cart to get here. Orderd 2 of them so as I get the containers I can put them away!! Thank You!!! I love your videos too!!! I love how you let us know where to get things and how much they cost, also how can we get the large factory packs like you get of beads? (example: 1000 or more)
Kathie Winecoff I would love them where do you live I have also just joined a site which is also in the uk where I come from if you would like the link it is www.spoiledrottenbeads.co.uk I love the things they sell also you can get lovely free jewellery patterns if you do join just say welshsuz52 sent you thank you
Love the storage unit system 🤗 funny enough I was having the same problem with storage as I have so many hobbies other than beading 😹 I was just. It able to find the correct type of storage so I bought a heap of 8”x 4” sheets of 3 and 6 mm MDF and started to make my mobile storage unit that can be used for my beading, polymer Clay, quilting, embroidery and so many other crafts that I do, I have a few of those boxes that you have but sad to say they cost me $4 AUS bucks 😹😹😹😹😹I am having as much fun making my storage unit as I do with the hobbies that I will be storing in these boxes or cubes 😹😹😹I am making them like the pigeon hole but without the pigeon hole😹😹😹, once I have a section finished I will have to find a way to show you🤗
I've been using those embroidery floss storage bins for years. I have been so frustrated with them lately because it's hard to find the beads you need for a project, then u have to transfer them to a separate container to use especially if I need one bead from one bin and another from a different bin. I love this idea. Have you used those embroidery floss bins before? And have you found a better use for them if you have? I plan to switch all my storage to your idea. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for your info - you are always so thorough! Have my little boxes and testing out all the boxes in the house! Lol - little box mania!! Thinking of making shelves on the wall so I can see them all at a glance, just love the single layers. Thanks again!
Seriously great idaa. I've been looking for storage ideas. I have about 40 of the plastic, flat tackle boxes full of beads and they become pretty cumbersome. I love this idea. I have a shelf that the tackle boxes won't fit on but that these would, perfectly. Also, for those of you who are having trouble finding them in your local store, you can go online and order them. I mean, as long as you don't mind buying them by the assorted (round and square) case of 36 pcks. I have more than enough to fill 360 so I ordered the case. Just saying.
I didn't know Ross carried crafts. Thank you for the great ideas!

Awesome....will check out my dollar store over the weekend. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks you for this inexpensive storage idea. I will most definitely try your suggestions, as I have a over 14 years of beads to put up.
Oh Aleshia...where were you when I was reorganizing my craft room!!! These are awesome. They look like they'd be perfect for my small room. Thanks so much!
Awesome storage ideas. As someone who struggles to organize my ever growing stash of beads, this is most helpful!!
I've had to work in a very small space for years. I've just used those tackle type boxes and stack them. Such a pain to find what I'm looking for. I like your system a lot. I'll look for those $ store containers! Thanks for sharing.
that looks so organized you should do a bead collection video once you get your beads in their new homes
I was looking for bead storage ideas and this video was sooo helpful!!! Thank you so much! You did a great job!
Thank you so much. I put all of the fuse beads in these after watching your video. I emptied the shelves in my local store.
Hi Aleshia, did the Iris drawer cart come assembled or did you have to put it together? I'm just wondering how bulky it is to ship. Thank you!
Thank you for such an awesome storage idea. Aleshia you are a 🌟
Love that idea. what size beads are common to get?
Thank you Aleshia for the storage tips, Its awesome. I like how excited you get.
Eve
I will be going to every Dollar Tree I see ....Great Idea's !!! TY for sharing !!!
i envy your wonderful organizational skills. i have those very containers and a few small boxes I got at dollar store too. i started using the document boxes to sell too. but I need more of them as I have finished Beadwork. love your ideas! and your nails! :)
I use these too but I also use beadsmith flip top boxes and line wood utensil trays with my 11/0 Tohos only. I stack them and bring the trays to living room when I create. Great idea!
This is a great idea, I also use those rubbermaid containers for heavy and large size beads ... Thanks you for sharing
WOW .... girl I have just now watched this video - was looking for good storage ideas, but I have been subbed to you for some time now!! Thanks for the great info...much love!!
this is a great help thanks
I use those plastic containers
I also got some small round containers in which i place small amounts of small crystal beads.
Ooo love those!! Thanks for your tips. Your nail color is killer too.
Hi ty for sharing .love these ideas. so i have a question since i have been beading for long time so here is my question do u any beading that u use the bead mat for the back of embroidery for beading what type of glue would u use ?

I love your personality. I have learned so much from you and your enthusiasm.
Thank You for sharing your GREAT ideas! Very GOOD & SMART of u to recycle so much!😊
I found some at the dollar store! Thanks for the share!
I too use these containers. I'm a paper artist and I store all kinds of embellishments. I used over 100 containers
Awesome. I use those same containers for jewelry beads, and perler beads.
Ohhhhhh! What a great Idea and it's so pretty too!...Thanks

Can you do a update on your storage Ideas & how this system has prevailed over time? Loved this video as I am having storage problems. TYFS .
I really like this idea thank you because I also make paper beads so having all this storage would be great
Great Idea Aleshia. Thanks for your wonderful videos
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR ROUND DUO? Thanks for this vide....
Love the storage unit system 🤗 funny enough I was having the same problem with storage as I have so many hobbies other than beading 😹 I was just. It able to find the correct type of storage so I bought a heap of 8”x 4” sheets of 3 and 6 mm MDF and started to make my mobile storage unit that can be used for my beading, polymer Clay, quilting, embroidery and so many other crafts that I do, I have a few of those boxes that you have but sad to say they cost me $4 AUS bucks 😹😹😹😹😹I am having as much fun making my storage unit as I do with the hobbies that I will be storing in these boxes or cubes 😹😹😹I am making them like the pigeon hole but without the pigeon hole😹😹😹, once I have a section finished I will have to find a way to show you🤗
I love this idea!!! I would love to see how you have everything set up! maybe one day you could do that? Love your videos
Fabulous as always. I love your ideas.
Thanks for sharing!
omg I use the same containers that's so cool and you are right they fit every where and the are pretty sturdy too!!!!
Thank you so much for your info - you are always so thorough! Have my little boxes and testing out all the boxes in the house! Lol - little box mania!! Thinking of making shelves on the wall so I can see them all at a glance, just love the single layers. Thanks again!
I use these as well and love them and they are perfect for a lot of things and saves space.
A perfect video. You seem to understand exactly what we need to know.
Thank you for this video! I am using this method for some of my bead storage!
