Fun video Kimberly! Of course the best place to buy a vacuum is a local shop. I used the second method as you know because I am on the opposite coast to you, I used the phone and email to purchase my vacuum from you (VacMD)! Hey folks, VacMD is awesome! In my region there are no local vac shops and you won't find a bagged vacuum anywhere in my area. I found Kimberly on UA-cam as I was researching vacuums and learned about the vacuum I now own (Simplicity/Tacony). For my needs it is enough. The nice thing is not only does Kimberly stand behind it, but it is also very user serviceable. Being in California it is impossible to bring it in to her in Florida, but if such a thing is ever needed she assures me she can help.
She is one of the most knowledgeable people on vacuums I have met. Working with her was easy and a pleasure. She goes out of her way to help!
While not the most comfortable thing buying sight unseen and such, Kimberly instilled enough confidence with her service alone to make me want to buy from her! Folks, she really does what she says, she really works with you! That is what makes a great small business and the reason we should support them. You will not get that service from any big box store or chain retailer, period. I could have purchased that same vacuum from Amazon, but while Amazon makes returns painless (almost too painless), it is not the same as buying from someone who learns your needs and is there for you should you have questions or need deeper service. I also was so impressed with VacMD and Kimberly, I could not help but make my purchase from her and it supports small business at the same time. Further purchase needs in this category will be made from VacMD as far as I am concerned. (In fact, I have one coming up).
As for vac brands: There are a few robot vacs that are actually not bad such as Eufy. However, the best is indeed iRobot if you want something serviceable.
Eureka used to be good, but like others over the last 10+ years they have gotten terrible in terms of quality and stamina. I consider Dyson a junk brand like Shark with the only difference being price. The two last equally as long (one might get a year or two before having to replace them), in my opinion. I do my homework to the point of analysis paralysis, but I am not an expert like Kimberly.

@@kimberly.thomason Absolutely Kimberly! In this world we have 99.9% complaints about businesses and products, many likely well deserved, but one rarely hears about the honest businesses, the gems in both business and product, etc. They need to be recognized otherwise people lose interest all together. They need to be recognized to go on being successful, that can't happen if nobody knows about them.
Lately, I have run into a number of great deals and services that save a ton of money and are just as good if not better than the big names. I recently switched to a cheaper and better mobile phone service for half the price and twice the goods on the same strong network! I also ran across a software company that offers Office software, PC utilities, video edit programs, etc. on the cheap and are equal exactly to big ones. I was very skeptical of both and put them through the ringer and they have proven not only legit, but stellar!

Performance reviews mentioned and it’s true that Shark is the vacuum devil of the vacuum industry and that they are disposable.
