Ok Nancy Nancy Wilson.. Ok she has Phyllis Hyman, Teena Marie, Howard Hewitt, Gerald Albright, Nia Peeples and Phillip Bailey.. Singing Back Up for her on this song. Now that is what you call Grace
I Love Love Nancy Wilson, She Deserves any Honor or Award or Acknowledgement that they will give her! Look at all the Formidable Vocalist from all the different Genres. Jazz & Gospel & Traditional Pop she is Soooo Influentilal to Singers . they should do a NAACP tribute for Her & a Soul Train Tribute & a BET tribute. why is she alwys passed by for these Awards. she is the Connecting Link between Jazz & R&B
What a fabulous choir: on the front row, from right to left, I can see: Teena Marie, Syreeta Wright (with red hat and overalls), Sarah Dash, Nia Peebles, and Carl Anderson, far right; In the second row, from left to right: Miles Jaye, George Duke, Howard Hewitt, Tramaine Hawkins (wearing green), Andrae Crouch, Sandra Crouch (with hat), Phyllis Hyman and far right Cheryl Lynn (wearing a red suit) . I could not identify: the two singers to the left of Cheryl Lynn, one wearing black (would be Thelma Houston?) And one with light hair. It is noteworthy that it is easy to hear the highs of Cheryl and Tramaine in the high notes. Also noteworthy is the masterful interpretation, beauty and elegance of Miss Nancy Wilson. Rest in peace in the Lord's arms! Thanks for posting this wonderful video.
That's not Syreeta Wright with the red hat next to Teena Marie. That's Wanda Hutchinson Vaughn of The Emotions and next to her was Shanice Wilson of "I Love Your Smile" fame; not Sarah Dash. Next to Nia Peeples is El DeBarge.
Miss her. Just knowing she was part of our world was a comfort and a thrill. I never heard this song and this great combo with both Nancy and a beautiful choir. ❤ God's Blessings🎉

Wow, this is beyond awesome. This is a favorite song of mine. I actually performed it with a group of elementary school students using sign language many years ago. This all star cast is beyond words. Stars don't show up for each other these days like that. Live and real. Many thanks and smooches for this jewel.
Ms.ms.wilson, was in a league of her own...it says alot about the lady herself for ALL those artist rally to her...SAYS ALOT. The songbird herself ms.wilson, honey-coated VOICE is gone, but she left us with timeless music that will outlast us all. We won't hear or see the likes of her again...the lady was so classy n elegant...l'll treasure her memory always n that fabulous VOICE...she truly had it going ON.( listen closely to the music in her VOICE)
I knew of this song but have never heard it. Thank you so much for posting it. What a truly stunning back up chorus. I am a big Lady Tee fan and i knew of her involvment in this song and its so great to see her and the very gifted Phylis Hyman here amongst so many other talents on that stage. The likes that are so rare to find these days. Thanks once again

Probably the one and only time you'd find Phyllis singing back-up vocals....only for Ms. Nancy Wilson though of course.
I never get tired of watching Phyllis Hyman reaction to Nancy, who was a huge influence on her vocally and her stage presence.

@@Calvin375 My thanks to you Calvin 375, for your help in identifying the awesome choir.
Also, I think that's Teena or Tramaine Hawkins on those high notes. Teena is right on the mic. Phillip Bailey was basically letting her have it. Lol.
RIP Nancy Wilson, such a great loss to the jazz culture! She had true talent! What a legendary soul..

Yup! I think so.
Yes, that was them. Tramaine shared her vocals to many secular artists back in the 80's.
