I do agree with the best Fourthwing and Weyward. I can’t wait to read legends & lattes and how to sell a haunted house in august for the fall vibes lol. I do have the wishing game and now I want to read soon. So many books I want to purchase and so many on my tbr 😅. I just finished happy place last night. Love your content.
A book I picked up on a whim and really enjoyed was The Saturday Night Ghost Club by Craig Davidson. It's a coming of age story, the narration gave me Sandlot vibes, but it is a ghost hunt. It's not really a typical ghost story. Only thing I will say for triggers is there is trauma, and the mental affects of trauma. I do advise to look up other triggers warnings, but those two really stand out as you read along, and I am worried I might have given spoilers just by mentioning them.
I agree with you...The Writing Retreat is the most disappointing thing I've read so far this year. I wish I could unread it...that's how bad it was. LOL Weyward was an unexpected 5-star for me as well! I think we have similar tastes for the most part so I love seeing how you rank all of your reads. I have to add a few more to my TBR now.
Love your channel, but I have no idea what y contemporary means? Do you have a video explaining all the book blog terms, slang and acronyms for noobs like me? It's another language. :)
Weyward was so good! Got it from BOTM because of the cover and read it in one afternoon. I would love to read more from the author!
Okay you convinced me. I was concerned it was grossly overhyped but I am biting the proverbial bullet and reading Fourth Wing

I’m in VA too. And agree with so much of these. So I guess…when are we starting book club? Lol

Agreed, and I feel bad as it's the authors first book, I believe.
I’m interested to read a few of these.
How to Sell A Haunted House was the WORST! I agree with Kayla on Books and LaLa with that being awful!

Completely agree about Ruby Spencer, I was SO disappointed!! It was one of my most anticipated of the year and I couldn’t believe how boring it was.
