It really was a "unit leader lives" kinda game wasn't it lol. Gg fellas. Super cool to see so many b1 squads with the invasion force on the table. I did think thr tank would have been good to hop up with hover on some terrain via a strafe. You really need to think ahead with unit placement on that list.

Rodger Rodger. Great match guys, games are won with (un)lucky dice rolls. Played a 501at match against a blizzard force. Scary to go up against but managed a win with heavy losses. Clones need a readjustment in some way

works twice in a barrage turn.
(that is to say, fire HE shells so that cover doesn't deduct twice!! Take the first action as an aim or a recover if necessary :3)

Awesome game thank you! I’m not sure that placing the tank on the flank would have made so much of a difference? Looked like there was plenty of space for pikes to hide in the flank side of the bridge terrain. Also, I’m really curious to see how Republic underperforms as you guys say? At least in your games, Republic usually beats CIS rather handily. Keep up the good work!
That’s just us playing like we do.. sadly in tournament and high level play Gar has been in the struggle buss. Not unplayable by any means but the bottom on the food chain until a fix is made :) thanks for watching!

I am looking foward now when the SC box will arrive in my country for purchase. Technically SC is also a battle force. How do they rank amongst the other battle forces?

I think the sc is very flexable, probably top 3 of the 5 easy in ranking. Clear bases is nice but can often be ruled against in official tournament play so we stear clear of them, thanks for watching! -Don

Another good report. I think ARCS are fine tbh. They have sharpshooter, tactical, and scout 2 built in. There isn't a single keyword on the supercoMando card I wouldn't trade for any of those. Also clones can share tokens which means they need to have a higher cost than similar things in other factions, because they are always surging to block/hit when it matters, unlike every other faction (except I guess the rebel mandos, but they have their own problems in their faction, mostly competing with wookies which is the problem ARCS have too in non battle force lists). I do think unlike the Blizzard/Echo/Scum battle forces, which each probably have about 4 or 5 competitive lists, there's only one or two good list with 501st (4 full arcs/two generic commanders/2 naked at-rts/2 phase 2s - sub out two full arcs for ARC strike teams for more stuff). What would be interesting, is if they lowered ARCS lower than their original cost JUST for the battle force.
I wish I agreed but even looking the large community and tournaments… gar is in last of the four big factions. You wouldn’t trade surge to def natively? Or speed 3? I would… but I think a point reduction on them and give them jet packs cheap or free would go along way. Thanks for watching!

@@graysquadrongaming8670 i wouldn't trade surge to block or speed on supercoMandos for any of the ARC KEYWORDS, but I would trade either of those for token sharing, and I would also trade any of their keywords for any ARC keyword (defend/independent aim for Sharpshooter, Scout 2, or Tactical)
Even the dice they shoot… mandos have better… We can agree to disagree.. maybe before token sharing nerf… I would have agreed..but sadly the community largely agrees the arcs and phase 2 needs some help to be competitive. I still play them and love them :) thanks for watching

Do you guys not use silhouettes to determine line of site? There were a couple times where you said something like "i can barely see the head" and silhouettes kind of remove all that aspect of game playing.
We use silhouettes off camera, we describe what we can see via the silhouettes with the flare to make it more exciting for the viewers-Don

Good to see the collective doing strong stuff it looks like someone forgot the mandos have dauntless tho which would have made for some strong plays in the late game although by that point don had already reached a point where he just wanted to stop at least it seemed like that.
