Good news! If you get hit with the Seize the Initiative Looping Turns bug, there is a very simple way of fixing it before the next patch: It's mostly caused by leaving an Officer character with Seize the Initiative on the ship (not your active party). Which is why this might happen after you recruit a new story party member like Pasqal and remove one of your Officers from party. The easy way is to simply respec whatever Officer you leave on your Ship to NOT have Seize the Initiative anymore. Toybox Mod can help with that as you get to respec with no cost (as it's a bug) and also even from any area!
Hello, thank you for the great build. One question about it, though. Is it as beyond broken in the endgame as it is in chapter 2, compared to other builds and enemies?
Just got stuck with this as you first leave the space station and go searching for new systems, it puts you in a fight by yourself in the captain quarters, and you get stuck. Either respec or just press kill all enemiesin toybos(I killed, couldn't be bothered respecing several officers).
It also occurs if one of the members of your party goes down. Or, if you get a ship "random Encounter" where you're by yourself - you might as well pack it up, lol.

My man, these are GREAT guides. I'm new to Warhammer in a pen and paper ruleset sense and this game was very confusing to build characters. Your guides helped so much! Honestly gives me a reason to go back and do a replay when I'm done with my current playthrough.
If for some reason you don't want your officer acting first to be the one casting Voice of Command + Air of Authority, you can simply have him/her cast Bring it down! on the officer that is dedicated to VoC + AoA. Then have that officer cast VoC + AoA on his/her first 2AP bonus turn, and then Bring it Down! on his/her second 2 AP bonus turn. Haven't tested it yet, but it should work.
Love your guides. I would like to make a small suggestion. Please include more gameplay clips so that we get to see more action. That helps a lot in understanding stuff better. Thanks!!
Just a note that if you have this much coercion, you can do a small detour to get 45 strenght and get heavy armour proficiency, and get the armour that adds deflection based on Coercion. In Unfair this can make your otherwise squishy psyker incredibly tanky and can make Blade of Justice even more viable. Plus the vibes are real. If you go full dogmatic, you can get the drusian blade that scales on dogmatic and negates the need for weapon skill to hit agasint xenos daemons and chaos agents.
Thanks for all these guides @cRPGBro. I would love to get your take on adjustments in light of More Than Possible being erased and other core perks being nerfed. I'm new to this world and CRGPs in general, so I may just be over thinking it, but I'm feeling like the character I'm building with this guide is ultimately going to be a frustration rather than a lot of fun.
Press the Advantage was fixed in the most recent patch. Previously, psyker powers did not remove any of its stacks but now they do, so no more obscene damage scaling. Since much of this build's damage seems to come from this single mechanic, I think a caveat should be added in the description that it no longer works as described. It's too bad- I started this build just as the nerf came into effect too.
@@tobystewart4403 I’m still quite early in the game, so I can’t tell yet. I can post an update when I figure it out. Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable can weigh in, in the meantime.
@tobystewart4403 it's still probably the most synergistic way to build an officer/master tactician with all the resolve stacking. You just have to save up your tactical advantage stacks now instead of getting to do an absurd nuke every turn
I’ve just reached level 10 and one thing I can say for sure is that the build requires a certain patience and humility. You will, for the early game, be a noncombatant, just buffing your chosen star player (typically Argenta) rather than playing a direct role in the fighting. If you can accept that your main character will not gain personal glory in combat, it works really well. Psychologically, it may not sit well for people who need their characters to be front and centre from the start. The build is a fairly “slow burn”- he/she can’t shoot, can’t melee, and doesn’t even feel like a proper psyker for the first 10 levels.
@wyomingsioux that's pretty much any officer build to start off. Master tactician adds a bit more potential for dealing damage but you're still primarily support
My favorite is Fortress World Soldier Arch-Militant Pyromancer/Telepath. All the Soldier and Arch Militant abilities work with Psyker Powers, so I'm casting 4+ times a turn and the Pyromancer Telepath combo means I usually clear encounters within one turn on Unfair. Pain Channeling plus Backdraft and Aftershock, with Psychic Barrage converting my BS into raw damage, lets me hit a group of weak enemies with a Lightning Arc and the excess damage of each of their deaths kills a ton of other enemies. In several encounters I've ended the battle with LITERALLY a single attack. On unfair.
just a note, you cant take Psy rating 3 on the jump between 29-30 because the game DEMANDS you to be 30 when you pick that talent, i just happen to stumble upon this, hope this helps. Also, you were able to pick that skill on that moment because you already had more level when you reseted your skill tree.
going void born, using the Be Smart HW skill and putting all the fel levels into Int sould allow you to have all the benifits of the fel build but make you a skill monkey as well to cover any empty areas

@@sirarthurkingofbobland4159 any build guide earlier than July 24, 2024 can be ignored due to a major patch. Like this vid. Its too bad this game isnt very popular. As of right now ive only seen 1 updated guide vid
Ended up clearing my first playthough the other night with this on my MC. It was ASTOUNDINGLY powerful. I swapped out some of the support-y stuff for Pyromancy and stacking Psy Level with Ancient Force sword so I could get some good damage in when I didn't need or want to support. Ended up clearing the final boss with a like, 8k Sanctic Staff Heroic Action crit. It was HILARIOUS watching him eat that much damage at once.
Just wanted to add that psalms of heroes and inspire are fixed now. Maybe add a note in your video at the right timestamp? Keep doing the Emperor’s work :)
If you don't like some talent picks here, a nice combo is Sanctified Slayer, which can be picked as a common talent and gives you +crit chance equal to your resolve, and Dawn of Victory which adds half of your resolve to momentum on crits, up to three times per turn. Since we're stacking resolve with this build anyway, this can become a ridiculous boost to crit and momentum generation!
Fantastic builds! There's so much to this game, so it can be difficult to sort through all of the talents and figuring out which ones work better than others with all the combinations during character creation. I'm finding a Crime Lord / Operator (sniper mostly) to be pretty fun, but feel like there's so much I'm missing still on building it optimally. Would love to some attention towards Operator's in general (Idira or Pasqal would be fine - even though they are built differently). Thank you for all the great videos!
Just got the game and i said there is absolutely no way cRPG Bro is not playing this and doing guides. And am i so happy i was right. You made both Pathfinder guides so fun for me to play and i was planning on doing an officer psyker build and it's your first one 😂 Love it. Can't wait to jump in now.
It's a really fun game, just like the Pathfinder titles! Glad to hear my build is just what you had in mind, it's the most fun I've had with the game so far for MC 😃
Hey Bro ! I love your guides, you safed me hundreds of hours in different games searching and reading stuff. I dont have the time for it and also don´t want to study rocket science to play a game. You do it for me and it´s AWESOME ! Besides from that, i think this build is outdated. For example, Seize the Initiative don´t work like that anymore. For good reason.
Great guide as always. I started as Sanctic Officer also and was looking at going melee with the 2-handed sword that benefits from Dogmatic so as to feel like a smiting paladin type character but this is tempting me to become a blaster instead!
The good thing is our most powerful nuke is called Wrath of the Emperor, with a big looking bright holy explosion, so it foes fit a Smiter thematically too 😃
Press the Advantage was fixed in patch 1.0.1 so while this is still viable don't expect any more 500 damage nukes from stacking a buff that doesn't expire.
would love a ultimate dps killing machine rogue trader guide, classical guns blazing type deal, from character creation with max damage minmaxing in mind! almost all guides i see involve officer in some way, i guess its just that good.
If you get the infinite seize the initiative bug. Then the fix is to not leave an officer with the "seize the initiative" ability on your ship. So either bring your officers along, or respec them and remove that skill from them before you do.
@@cRPGBro I think it might be simply an officer with Seize not being active in the combat. Because I don't have anyone on my ship, but when Cassia died my MC got looped into infinite turns. So, uh. ...don't let Cassia die.
Dude watched your guides last night (the 50 minute one explained alot of stuff and was a huge help) and i was literally just thinking "i hope he does a psyker guide" 😂
Welll that's perfect, I don't own the game yet, know almost nothing about it, but if I were to buy it this is exactly the build I would want to do. Well maybe as more of a buff/debuffer bio/telepath.
Thankfully the character is versatile enough for that! You can always go for more Psy Disciplines during level up, but I really enjoy starting as Sanctic.
@@cRPGBro I see that sounds promising, do you think your build can work if I go into these discipline instead ? Should I restrain myself to just one of them ? I prefered those ones more as an RP thing. Also I wanted a MC that would be both Psyker and centered around helping his allies but the psyker guides were all about blasting so I was glad the first one you published was an officer.
Respec'd to this from a Sniper build with a mod and it seems like the latest Officer nerfs shift a bit of the power around. It's not *worse*, but you can't just drop 4 Bring It Downs on Argenta or Ulfar to one-round combat anymore, so I think it may be a better idea to grab a few more damage dealing powers or non-Officer buffs.
!!!*PSY RATING 3*!!! Everyone, in order to follow this video and get psy rating 3 at 29-30 as he shows in the video, you have to pick some other crap, actual hit lvl 30, then respec. Then you can pick psy rating 3 when you get to that point in the respec. You cannot follow this video and pick psy rating 3 when he does during normal/first time leveling, it requires respec after lvl 30. He avoided this with Psy rating 1 and 2 because he didnt immediately pick them, he delayed them until after lvl 10/20, he respecced to make the video which allowed him to pick psy rating 3 immediately at 30 instead of later. I had the same issue as you all, and did the respec to continue on with his build
It's because if you notice, you dont actually hit the next level until you complete selecting upgrades each time, ie you are 29 until you complete choosing, then you become 30, so in the normal course of things without respec, you cant select psy powers until 11+/21+/31+ and so forth, they would need to make you actually hit the next level before selections, instead of showing 29 with yellow arrows, 30 with yellow arrows or something. Similarily to things with stat requirements live heavy armor, if youre at 40 str, and a level selection lets you choose an attribute increase and a talent, you cant increase strength to 45 and then pick heavy armor because you dont actually have the 45 strength yet, its just a preview, youd have to lock in the 45 strength and pick heavy armor at another level. You are still level 29 in the selection screen, thus arent flagged as being eligible for level 30 requirement without respeccing, or it works for you to delay it until a later level@@cRPGBro
I tried Officer Psyker, but wanted to go even harder and restarted as Operative Pyro-psyker with all the sweet Operative dmg buffs added to my psy abilities, they delete absolutely everything, and Cassia is my party's Officer, she's enough ❤
I haven't tested with Psalms as it's bugged, but I wonder how high it can go once fixed, since it is very easy to get 3-4x Heroic Actions before enemies get to act when you have Officers.
Psalms of Heroes should be REALLY fun if you're willing to tweak difficulty setting for generating momentum up to maximum +50%. Can't wait for the patch to fix this and many other talents!
It's mostly the Resolve Buffs: Voice of Command + Air of Authority (this can be done on a fellow Officer's Turn at the start of battle through Seize the Initiative). Then Voice of the Emperor, then Linchpin (ideally from another Officer but also works on yourself) & Press the Advantange after Fervour whenever you want to nuke. Because by the time you get Master Tactician during Chapter 2, also when you actually get the nuke, you + other Officers will have the In The Hero's Footstep Talent for even MORE Extra Turns, it's pretty easy to get the buffs going before the enemies do anything at all, even on Unfair. Ideally you want to have my Cassia Build as Grand Strategist, who also always acts first, cast Point of Curiosity as to bring enemies closer for more AoE hits. She can also use Bring it Down or Finest Hour on your Psyker on the same turn, so you act first before enemies after all the buffs.
You clearly know exactly what you speak about and also tells it with passion. It's a joy to listen on your guides. However, it's an absolute nightmare to write up the instructions you give because you are all over the place. A simple solution would be that you also post a condensed text version we can use alongside the game while playing. Please don't take this as a negative critique, you and Mortismal Gaming (www.youtube.com/@MortismalGaming) are the best of the best when it comes to content like this.
This is the build I went with when the game released, feels so good for psyker. Really snowballs in power. Shame i'm not sure about becoming a santic psyker since it conflicts lore wise with my heretic run
Good news for you! You're actually VERY accurate, lore-wise! During the Horus Heresy, the God-Emperor (GE) saw the power Horus had, and thought he was gonna lose. To guarantee his victory, GE started to drink deep of the Immaterium, and took so much of the warp into him that he started to become the 5th warp god, the 'Dark King.' It was only the intervention of several other Perpetuals, immortals that he had worked alongside for millenia, that convinced him to let the power go and face Horus as a man. But here's the kicker: The Dark King still exists. When the Emperor excised the power of the Dark King from himself, he also took the opportunity to cut out his conscience, and cast it into the Warp, as he thought it was the only way to kill his favorite son after releasing the power. That conscience, nicknamed 'The Star Child,' is still out there, and the warp gods have been DESPERATE to find it, as they fear it could cause the resurrection of big GE, similar to how the craftworld Eldar are making a new god of souls in their little soulcrystal mountains. You can always RP as the heretic who finally found an aspect of the Star Child, and is slowly trying to corrupt it, and bend it to your desires. There's even a secret ending that fits pretty well into this, as there always is in an Owlcat game. Have fun!
if there are 2 officers in the party with the skill -"Seize the Initiative", then when one of them dies, the second one receives this buff and the battle breaks down, since only this officer can walk and the end of the turn again leads to him walking, but without attack points. (GOG version - 1.0.62)
Well, this has certainly convinced me that I've messed up my build; no wonder I'm borking when against the 1st Chapter End Boss... Thank you for the walkthrough - Time for a restart!
Thank you for this build cRPGBro. It really helped me get through a lot of questions just jumping into this game. I use many of your builds in baldurs gate 3 and Pathfinder. You are well aware this is out of date with the recent updates. I really like this build and was wondering if you are making an updated version of this?
I tried this build today, and it just made me laugh. It's funny how you can get something so strong so early on the game. Someone said that the build is nerfed, and today it's my first time using. I could deal like 80-100 dmg AoE on the begining of act 02, as soon as i got the Staff on Footfall, unfair difficulty. Nice build xD
With voidborn I'd think you would be able to sacrifice fellowship in favor of INT with Be Smart as long as you can have another party officer to fill in for you
@@DoumanAsh it would also let you specialize in an intelligence skill which covers 6 skills requiring 3 characters to specialize in them all fellowship I'd go with lore [imperium] and lore [warp]. pascal for tech use, logic, specialization. and Yrliet for lore [Xenos] and awareness. medicae is useful but not a skill i think I'd specialize into at the cost of awareness. the main downside is it does cost a talent pick so something like still mind is swapped for jinxed and lost.
It is a trap. Fellowship increases your resolve which is key for the nuke in the build. Plus Be Smart is a waste of talent and in addition you are unable to increase INT based skills outside of Lore Imperium and Lore Warp. There is no point going for INT based build here.
@@j.vdubois5074 yeah I noticed the skill limitations when I tried doing an intelligence verson of the build. Also jinxed giving +10% to everything early on is more impactful than I thought. I didn't account for fellowship boosting resolve though that's a big deal.
I have been following SirCanucklehead's Officer Psyker build. As I rapidly approach level 40, what leveling-up choices should I make from level 40 to 55? Any thoughts or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Cheers.
Great guide! Where can I get that staff early? Or is there some way to start doing damage earlier? My main character feels like he isn't doing enough in combat.
Nice build ! If i have a operative sniper RT & Cassia & Abelard & Pasqal & Idira & Argenta (Heavy bolt gun & Flamegun ) , if i want a Officer , do i get Psyker or noble officer ? And i should ditch Pasqal or Idira ??
Quick question about Nerves of Steel. You say that it means you lose momentum quicker too, but from the way I was reading the talent, it seems like you should lose it slower to me (or is just really convoluted wording). Just wondering if your statement here is something you've tested, or just from the wording of the talent?
You always can take another branch of psychic powers whenever you get a new ability. So you can take the sanctic psyker in the beginning for psalms of heroes and extra resolve and then take whatever power you like. Psalms of heroes works at the moment, but it "only" works for heroic actions(won't work for the desperate measures).
More builds! Keep them coming! As a side note, I want to play the santic psyker but be frontliner, like a holy warrior in melee. Is it possible? Any quick pointers?
I know it may not be great form to reference another channel but I suspect that cRPGBro is, like his moniker suggests, a supportive and collaborative individual who won’t mind the shout out. Mortismal Gaming, known for his reviews after completing 100% game achievements, has posted a build guide for a melee psyker that follows a similar concept, but utilizing a Biomancer/Pyromancer Warrior with Dogmatic alignment. There are two items from colony rewards- a suit of heavy armor and a holy sword that benefit from this combination. You could probably mix it up with a Sanctic component instead.
I have been running this build for a while now and have reached level 28. For the most part, it’s a solid character but I have one question. Why increase Willpower at all? In the original Rogue Trader tabletop RPG, most psyker powers regardless of school scale off that stat, but not in this game. None of the Sanctic powers use Willpower bonus in their calculation- only Psy rating and Resolve. Even the Sanctic staff nukes aren’t affected by Willpower at all. And only one Biomancy healing power (which isn’t in this build) is affected by WP bonus. Otherwise, Biomancy depends exclusively on Psy rating. Wouldn’t all the increases to WP have been better spent on Agility, Toughness, or Ballistic skill? All WP really does for this character is to help with checks against that stat, which are not an issue if you have Cassia or Idira on your team. It affects none of the chosen abilities. By investing in Ballistic skill instead of Willpower, you can at least snipe competently on the rare occasions that Argenta, Cassia, and Idira have not destroyed everything. And that sniper shot would be greatly enhanced by Press the Advantage. It’s nice to have offensive options other than the Sanctic staff. Ultimately, I modified the build. Instead of taking Biomancy for the second school at level 12, I chose Pyromancy and then Backdraft for the common talent, which adds substantial damage to the Sanctic Staff nukes. Even then, the WP bonus has only theoretical utility- it increases the amount of burning damage per round but most enemies are already dead from the direct damage before it can even kick in. An alternative would be Divination for second school, then Pain channelling, which also adds damage to the nukes. You would even be able to gain a second nuke in the form of Psychic assault (which benefits from Willpower bonus) and could alternate between that and the Sanctic staff, depending on which had a more favorable AOE for a certain situation.
This build feels familiar with how i build cassia, she already is OP and has great stats so i think my mc will go for other class. Anyway thanks for the video bro cant wait for other build guides!
Cassia is great, but she does not have the space for most Officer Talents, as you'll want Navigator stuff instead, so it can really help for the MC or a merc to be Officer as well!
There's a bit of a problem if your only other officer (apart from you the player) is Cassia because she always goes first, so going by the logic you outline it would be worth giving her a few of the officer things like Focus, but that would go against your all-in Navigator build. But I suppose that isn't such a bad thing, one can always delay nukey Cassia for a bit.
@@cRPGBro I'll be definitely supporting the devs anyway, as a Pathfinder-fan!) I played WoTR parallel to you and commented on some OP builds. If this game is at least almost as good as WoTR, I'll spend hundreds of hours in it)
There is 1 Merc in this party. MC & Cassia are already Officers. It could be avoided with Jae, who is another Officer story party member, but sadly the game completely prevents you from respeccing ANYTHING Officer wise from her first 15 levels, and her Talent/Power picks are very poor, but you can still use her.
Absolutely love these videos! Tried so many of your builds for Pathfinder:WoTR and I'm so happy to see you doing guides for games like BG3 and Rogue Trader now! I'm really enjoying Heinrix but it seems like his psyker abilities overlap a lot with this build and wanted to know your thoughts using Heinrix with this character or if I should just pick some other front liner?
Heinrix synergizes with this build really well, because the potency of your blasts is determined in part by how many stacks of "Will of the Emperor" you have. Having two party members who spare a point to building it up each turn makes that go a little faster; and the officer PC can use their extra round at the start of combat to have Heinrix trigger it again too.
Brilliant guide! Thank you, sir. Regarding Psalms of Heroes, is there a chance it only works after the MC gets Psy Rating 1? Or is it bugged throughout the game?
Awsome build, i'd like to play a biomancer melee build ? Can you do a guide for that? The only one existing around it's bug spoiling and was not even clear on what do on all levels.
Can you please tell me which archetypes and feats a pyromancer psyker should take? The goal is to inflict maximum damage without buffs from the team and overall high combat effectiveness of the hero
I haven't played yet and still deciding on a character, I'm hoping to do a Heretic run, but I'm not sure how this game works, will being a heretic restrict the build? Do I get locked out of some powers / bonuses?
Howdy, thansk for this! :D I cant really see an alignment to go for with this build? Is there good gear for heretics? or is it best to go with Dogmatic and or ironclast? Cheers
I prefer Iconoclast the best because being able to activate Heroic Actions for less Momentum is amazing, plus it fits being a Holy Warrior of the Emperor. But frankly, you'll be doing the 1k+ AoE nukes regardless, so feel free to go with whatever aligment you'd prefer.
I have an updated variant that's much stronger here going Soldier Psyker instead of Officer: ua-cam.com/video/KuHYBO1gzeY/v-deo.html But I'll also released an updated Officer Psyker for more buffing/support soon.
Great guide,, and good explanations! However Isn't Orchestrated Firestorm good once you take the 2nd upgrade & can use it multiple times per combat? Esp. if you have riders like Psalm of Heroes triggering off heroic acts. Requires the whole party to have some kind of rifle ofc. But some longlas or sniper rifle in the 2nd slot isn't too hard (main point would be ofc that the heroic act won't run out, if not for that Officer's heroic act is far superior):
A combo i think might also work great for the build: Stand resolute -> ally gains +1 resolve per heal. This would normally a very inefficient way to stack resolve. But you are a sanctic, so you heal the whole party with "Light of the Emperor". With "Heroic Inspiration" used on "Light of the Emperor", you should be able to heal the whole party AND give everyone +1 resolve - for 0AP after the first heroic act. (theoretically, only started act 2 so far)
Tried the build it's absolutely bonkers, as usual with you. Any idea if a ranged pyro can work for unfair? It's the type of class I always enjoy in crpgs however it doesn't seem to be very viable here.
I really like Argenta as Sniper: ua-cam.com/video/aN1W4dRn1Xw/v-deo.html Cassia as Navigator for CC & Damage: ua-cam.com/video/K28tcLd2Bis/v-deo.html Also use Abelard + Pasqal and Officer Merc (since you can't really select Jae Officer talents)
Hello, is this nerfed to the ground, and also you do not explain what you go far as heretical, dogmatic, or iconoclast or does it not matter? Once again great guides my friend!
Good news! If you get hit with the Seize the Initiative Looping Turns bug, there is a very simple way of fixing it before the next patch:
It's mostly caused by leaving an Officer character with Seize the Initiative on the ship (not your active party).
Does it works with soldier first archetype?
Can you please do a build with an overpowered pyromancer and melee build.

Thanks so much for all your builds and your explanations. Just wanted to support you for all the information you give us.
Hi there and apologies for that late reply.
Thank you so much for the Super Thanks and all the support!
This is exactly the build I was looking for.
Glad I could help 😃
Press the Advantage was fixed in the most recent patch. Previously, psyker powers did not remove any of its stacks but now they do, so no more obscene damage scaling. Since much of this build's damage seems to come from this single mechanic, I think a caveat should be added in the description that it no longer works as described. It's too bad- I started this build just as the nerf came into effect too.
How badly is it nerfed? It sounds like it could take a nerf and still be a great build.
On unfair.

You made me enjoy pathfinder now it's rogue trader perfect build as always Congratulation
Your guides are great. I originally tuned in during your BG3 guides, glad to see you are still doing amazing work.
Thanks for another awesome in-depth build.
14 hours in now and i am totally addicted. Owlcat don't miss.
The good thing is our most powerful nuke is called Wrath of the Emperor, with a big looking bright holy explosion, so it foes fit a Smiter thematically too 😃
If you want to go even more insanity, go sanctic/pyro. Flaming holy sword goes brrrrrrrrr.
Do you know which sword that is? or is that the semi-heroic ability?
Alright. I think I can do a fresh start now.

would love a ultimate dps killing machine rogue trader guide, classical guns blazing type deal, from character creation with max damage minmaxing in mind! almost all guides i see involve officer in some way, i guess its just that good.
Officer simply means more attacks, which is the guns blazingiest thing
@@anarcnamedjustin3451 true, but its mainly giving other characters more attacks, not urself.
If you get the infinite seize the initiative bug. Then the fix is to not leave an officer with the "seize the initiative" ability on your ship.
So either bring your officers along, or respec them and remove that skill from them before you do.
That is very interesting and quite good to know considering how annoying it can be!
@@cRPGBro I think it might be simply an officer with Seize not being active in the combat. Because I don't have anyone on my ship, but when Cassia died my MC got looped into infinite turns. So, uh. ...don't let Cassia die.

Been waiting for this one! Great guide! Argenta next?
Thanks for the note, I imagine it's a bug because it doesn't make any sense not to be able to pick Psy 3 at 30 when that's the exact requirement.
Is it ever worth taking "Be Smart" to substitute Int for FEL?
I tried Officer Psyker, but wanted to go even harder and restarted as Operative Pyro-psyker with all the sweet Operative dmg buffs added to my psy abilities, they delete absolutely everything, and Cassia is my party's Officer, she's enough ❤
Please share the build 🙏
I have an Operative Pyro run on the way as well!
Pyromancer can get +1 Psy Rating, when burning, then buff from - Psalm of Heroes +1 psy rating. theoretically you can get level 6 psy rating..
I haven't tested with Psalms as it's bugged, but I wonder how high it can go once fixed, since it is very easy to get 3-4x Heroic Actions before enemies get to act when you have Officers.
Latest patch "Press the Advantage effect was not removed by using Navigator Powers or Psychic Powers that caused damage - fixed;"
Thank you for the video!
Can you please make Telepath Psyker build with Operative archetype?
Or an Idira guide
Psalms of Heroes should be REALLY fun if you're willing to tweak difficulty setting for generating momentum up to maximum +50%. Can't wait for the patch to fix this and many other talents!
I just dealt an attack with 40-4986 damage (landed for 3342) in act 2, so yeah, this build is working great!
Yep, the Sanctified Staff nuke really is that GOOD!
Segue sendo o melhor canal de builds de CRPG!
I wish you could have showed us the actual battle/setup, like how you buff your party members for the nuke damage.
@@cRPGBro Thank you! Since Jae's Officer build is set in stone, I guess it's either Cassia being less Navigator-focused or a merc.
You are adoring the emperor in the "right way" like lorgar
The Sanctic Staff AoE is really the best of them all!
Hopefully Seize bugs are fixed at the upcoming patch!
Fixed in patch 1.0.73

I tried this build today, and it just made me laugh. It's funny how you can get something so strong so early on the game. Someone said that the build is nerfed, and today it's my first time using. I could deal like 80-100 dmg AoE on the begining of act 02, as soon as i got the Staff on Footfall, unfair difficulty. Nice build xD

Hello, could you take the "be smart" talent and take int rather then fellowship and make this build work?
it would be great if you could add more gameplay videos so we could see these in use a bit. Amazing guide though.
With voidborn I'd think you would be able to sacrifice fellowship in favor of INT with Be Smart as long as you can have another party officer to fill in for you
@@di115 It will do if you go for grand strategist or get Know-it-All and you get INT if you pick Be Smart too
@@di115 What do you mean first 16 levels? You're obviously supposed to pick Be Smart early on to get INT + WP

Can you do a telepath build? Can i use it instead of sanctic?
You always can take another branch of psychic powers whenever you get a new ability. So you can take the sanctic psyker in the beginning for psalms of heroes and extra resolve and then take whatever power you like. Psalms of heroes works at the moment, but it "only" works for heroic actions(won't work for the desperate measures).
Great guide dude. This is probably The #1 S tier build for the game.
Now show us some heavy weapons!
Hello there, theres a talent called BE SMART, and can i swap the fellowship for int in status, does not compensate make this build with int?
More builds! Keep them coming! As a side note, I want to play the santic psyker but be frontliner, like a holy warrior in melee. Is it possible? Any quick pointers?
It should be possible indeed, as Sanctic does have some Talents to boost tanking.
You can go with Vanguard for more tanking.
Any suggestions to a good commissar build ?
Now that Psalms of heroes is fixed what level would you take jinx? or would you put it on another character?
Thanks for the video
Hope you have fun with the build!
Thank you!!!

I'm guessing this build changes a lot since update 1.2? Love your builds my guy. Reckon this is still viable?
Brilliant guide! Thank you, sir. Regarding Psalms of Heroes, is there a chance it only works after the MC gets Psy Rating 1? Or is it bugged throughout the game?
Sadly it is still bugged even then as far as I've tested.
And thank you for the comment!
Hi CROG, does this build still work with latest patches ? Miss your vid’s like in Pathfinder 😢
Can you make an updated short vid? Is this build stil viable with the buffs and nerfs?
I have an updated variant that's much stronger here going Soldier Psyker instead of Officer: ua-cam.com/video/KuHYBO1gzeY/v-deo.html
But I'll also released an updated Officer Psyker for more buffing/support soon.
“Hello friend!” 👋
This will be good for the heretic playthrough :)
Blowing up fools with AoEs never gets old, after all!
A combo i think might also work great for the build:
Stand resolute -> ally gains +1 resolve per heal. (theoretically, only started act 2 so far)
amazing
Thanks!
Say, what conviction do you go for typically?
Tried the build it's absolutely bonkers, as usual with you. Any idea if a ranged pyro can work for unfair? It's the type of class I always enjoy in crpgs however it doesn't seem to be very viable here.
This is a great build thanks. Any more suggestions on what party members to bring?
I really like Argenta as Sniper: ua-cam.com/video/aN1W4dRn1Xw/v-deo.html
Cassia as Navigator for CC & Damage: ua-cam.com/video/K28tcLd2Bis/v-deo.html
Also use Abelard + Pasqal and Officer Merc (since you can't really select Jae Officer talents)
@cRPGBro Just started the game and Abelard seems to make sense for sure! Thanks as always
@@cRPGBro Abelard build is all that's left. My run is going great. Thanks for all the guides.
Hello, is this nerfed to the ground, and also you do not explain what you go far as heretical, dogmatic, or iconoclast or does it not matter? Once again great guides my friend!
