No bassist. Their bassist quit cuz he is British and hated touring and never seeing his family....but still produces their albums and tracks the bass. They dont want tl replace him so they just play his recorded basslines. i hate that they dont even get a touring bassist but it is what it is.
Nolly (the bassist) is still on the band, he just doesn't tour with them, but he still play the bass on the records, and Nolly is also a producer, so he dedicate all of his time on that
There’s no bass guitar live The 3 guitarist , mark ( purple ), misha ( Jackson ) , Jake ( blue ) They are playing for this song on 6 string guitars tunes in drop C There is bass in the song but it’s not being played live and it’s not what your hearing It’s the guitars making the melodies The bass is following the drums
People talking about spencer's vox. There is like no processing on them at all.. like wayyy too little reverb, too little compression, no auto tune... it's the only bad thing about this mix, they did like nothing for the vocals :(
I don’t think he needs them tbh. This was recorded when he was a little sick so it could be better, but this level of talent and skill to pull off these vocals while sick is just insane. The man is extremely talented. Honestly, if you can sound like this WITHOUT post processing? Yeah you won’t need it ever.
@@DeltaKillsTV Well no one needs reverb or delay, but it's how music has been made for about 50 years. I'm not saying he's bad, spencer is amazing, I'm just trying to let people know, when they think the vocals sound bad, it's because they're super dry, and most people don't realize how saturated 99% of vocals are. So that they're used to hearing something different, and this is amazing for being basically 100% dry. There are dozens of other live P vids where there is verb and delay on the vox. aka every live show vid of them on YT. Also, I wouldn't want it to be post processed. I would rather it just be done on the recording.
I remember Misha said Spencer was sick or something around this time. He still did good despite being sick.
yea his voice was weird, I was wondering why he sounded like that
Spencer is one of the best and most consistent vocalists around and i love him to death. But i think this recording was an off day for him lol
For sure a little nosey in the the start, but as it goes it gets great :D
From memory he was sick and they had just finished a tour

@NecrosisTerminal He says he doesnt write the basslines anymore, just plays them for the album.
But yes, he is the badass producer.
Yep 🤘🤘@@Posirep
