I think that your swarm trap was to large to be attractive for a small swarm like that. The size they want is right around 1 deep 10 frame box. There should also be some empty space so I never fill them completely with foundation. I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.
I could see that. Its sort of hard to tell from the video but the "trap" I am using is a deep hive body (with frames) on top of an empty super box so there is plenty of empty space inside of there below the frames for them to move in. I will for sure make changes to my traps for next years swarm season since I had so little luck with the ones I put out this year. Thanks for the watch!
