I love the A vs B equation/theory. However, weight divisions exist for a purpose. The the other important variable is: what is the skill level of A and B.... Huge factor in any fight and BJJ.

I think the A and B equation encompasses the importance of weight classes, obviously Danaher doesn't imply neglecting strength. Yet a Marcelo Garcia or Tonon and many others actively survive and sometimes defeat other highly trained and bigger opponents. Adcc and ibjjf absolutes are a reality but Olympic wrestling/boxing absolutes is not. So the equation still holds, it incorporates strength and size difference as massive advantages.
