Hi Zed. Thanks for your videos. They're a wonderfull insight into this community. Can you please start listing all the makers sites on them? I live in Portugal and I'm having a really hard time finding tools and resources and you could be the hub between the makers and beginners like me. TIA.
@@Adamastor00 I appreciate your kind words, unfortunately I don't have the time to collate all the websites of makers as there are far too many of them to list. If you are based in Portugal, then this is the best tool maker located there - belzeboocrafts.blogspot.com/
Hi Zed, thanks a lot for this video, much appreciated, I think I will attend next year thanks to you! I was wondering to know when do you plan to upload your Spoonfest video ? I ask because usually you upload it during the summer and I really look forward to watching it too ! Many thanks for your excellent channel !
I dont see any cuts bandaids or first aid station all so clever due to health issus i started carving and iv been looking for some thing to inspire me iv got an idea now, thank you from the sunshine coast Australia a beut video .
That looks like a lot of fun to attend. A bit far from Alaska though ... LOL ... great video. Took me a couple of days to watch as I was busy spoon carving in my garage enjoying a light rainfall out. I would like to see you do a good vid on sharpening though.
Indeed it is far from Alaska so hopefully you enjoyed the video of it, I do have videos on sharpening on my channel. I have them listed here for easier access - zedoutdoors.com/video-tutorials
Hello Zed! Greetings from Patagonia, Argentina. Do you know when the 2024 event will be? I am planning a trip to Europe for next year and I would like to take the opportunity to go to the event if I can coordinate the dates. Thank you very much for your help and the content of your channel is very good!
Hello my friend and thank you for your kind words! I believe the next Spoontown will be July 26th/27th/28th 2024 ...the website for next years will go live early next year so all the confirmation of dates, etc will be available then ~Peace~
Outstanding Zed! Was thinking of your group all last month. The sites and sounds are so ever soothing and so at peace. I appreciate all you and your carver friends do for me in the US. North Dakota
Do you happen to know the air dates for Martin's - Channel 5 series "Bead Carving for Beginners"? Also could you ask Martin to pass on contact details for Aristotle's agent please. Spoontown was a fantastic event and I was proud to play a little part in it. Huge thanks to Jill and her crew, who organised and set up a fabulous week for us wood botherers. Shame my class were on breaks the few times you tried to catch us in action, but hey, they needed them. I may have worked them a little too hard..lol
I did try numerous times to catch you with your group in action but alas had no luck, hopefully next time we'll co-ordinate better and I can only apologise in the interim. I'll get those details of the creature for you as a matter of priority! ~Peace~
@@Zedoutdoors Absolutely no need to apologise, the timings were out of your control, it's probably more to do with my carving of a fork at SpoonTown upsetting the spoon gods..lol
